Pastel by Rachel

I cannot rave enough about this artist and her product. I fell in love with Rachel's designs before we had even booked our tickets to Northern Ireland, so of course I had to have her make our cake when we decided to elope abroad. Despite the significant time difference, Rachel was always in touch and met with us virtually to discuss designs, colors, etc. She executed our marbled cake so perfectly I couldn't have dreamt it. Did I mention it tasted as wonderful as it looked? It was the perfect addition to our dream elopement and I'm so glad I got to work with this incredibly talented lady. Xx

We hired Rachel for our wedding cake and she did the most amazing job! It tasted as fantastic as it looked. We had so many compliments from our guests saying how delicious our cake was, we opted fror Chocolate guinness, Red velvet and White chocolate & raspberry flavours. Rachel was great from consultation, right through to the day, she went above and beyond to ensure it was exactly what I envisioned worked closely with my florist to ensure it all came together perfectly. I also got our wedding favours from La Pasteleria which were Starwberry & white chocolate macarons to match our colour scheme. Nothing was too much trouble and Rachel made the whole experience so exciting and enjoyable. It wasn't our first cake from La Pasteleria and most definitely won't be the last! Thanks Rachel!

Rachel made the most amazing cake for our wedding. She was super responsive and easy to work with throughout, and she achieved our brief perfectly - the cake looked fantastic at our relaxed, festival style wedding. But mostly it was absolutely delicious - countless guests told us it was the best cake they’d ever eaten and it disappeared very quickly with so many people going back for seconds and thirds. Could not recommend more highly - thank you Rachel!

We've had several cakes from La Pasteleria and they have all been amazing. Rachel is an incredible baker and her cakes are both stunning and delicious. You will absolutely not find better cakes or friendlier or more helpful service anywhere let alone in Coleraine!

I knew from her Instagram that the pavlova I ordered would look incredible, but I didn't expect it to be the best pavlova I had ever tasted - and it was! This was a truly delicious dessert which my family devoured in less than 48 hours - can't recommend enough!

Rachel did a fantastic job making our cake for our north coast wedding. We didn't get to taste any on the night but ate a lot of it the next few days! The toffee apple layer was especially good. Communication beforehand was very easy and it all came together brilliantly.
