The Beeches Care Home

we had to make a decision to havevmother enter a home where her needs could be catered fir. She had lived with us for two years but due to her loosing mobility it was no longer possible so after a search of homes in the area, some that stunk but had excellent CQC rating and others we wouldnt put a pet in we found the beeches.The beeches isnt a home its your relatives new home with 24/7 care instantly on hand.Ed,Julie,Julie ,Sarah to name only four are Brilliant.Mother loved being there and at the end we couldnt have asked for more proffessional care they did everything to look after her needs and ensure she was well looked after and comfortable.Theres something going on every weekday and weekends are normally more quiet as its when most relatives pay visitsThe food is great i know ive sampled it.Film time they get their ice creamsTheres always a birthday or some celebration going on.So need to find a good caring home fir a relative that needs careThe Beeches has to be a firm choiceOh and the night shift wear PJsPaul Beardmore

I worked at this home for over five years. I left here in August due to been taken over by new ownership last year and having new management. I'm all for change ! But I believe its not the case here.Poor management, support not given when needed! Not approachable and when approached poor response and bad attitude!.Very few care staff who actually care for the residents and towards the home .Poor menu choices and poor quality of food . Not enough food at mealtimes for those with larger appetites (mainly at teatime) ice lollies given for desserts.If this home was based on paperwork then it would be a four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ No questions asked ..as long as that paperwork is all up to date! Whether the task has been completed or not !This home is a four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for giving you a false first impression.

Staff do not have time to do what they need to do. Important things like repositioning are very over due. To many agency staff and staff expected to work short poor management.

I would definitely not recommend this place. The stuff what the staff say about people who live there is wrong

I worked here for approx 6 years. I left before it changed to the new owners. What I will say is that iam absolutely shocked that some employees that were then working as care staff are now in management positions! There are a few, very few carers that do genuinely care. It's sad I feel sorry for the residents.Don't believe the hype!
