3 stars because they were good in the past. Now, not so much. Had our issues over the years; once got a massive bill for work that wasn't asked for, but put that behind us.Family gave up on them but I persevered. Wife lost faith after a big bill to fix an aircon issue that wasn't fixed. Son gave up after they were plain rude to him and a friend.Latest was last straw. MOT with 2 rear tyres needed but told 4 tyres failed. Ordered and fitted elsewhere as would have cost £200 more to stick with A&D, but turned out only 2 had actually failed. Other two would probably do another 6 months. Cheers Alex, spending my money again!Left car with them all day to do a couple of other small issues but turns out they didn't bother. Asked to drop car back first thing so MOT could be reassessed, which I did but then told it would be afternoon before they'd get around to it, with Alex's usual flippant response.Plenty else I could mention but you're bored by now! Shame; maybe it was whoever D was that made the business decent and at least a bit professional and customer friendly.

Was very helpful in a sticky situation when visiting our son. Arrived on Friday and was due to leave Sunday. Car was having issues getting into gear, called other garages who couldn't fit in until the following week but A&D booked us in, dropped off Saturday morning and picked up Tuesday and found the fault with car different to what other garages were saying and work at a much cheaper price. Thank you A&D.

Carried out repair on my Range Rover ...dropped it in the morning and I had a phone call telling me it was ready by 3pm that day ...what’s not to like ?I would recommend.

Time wasting con menNever, not once, called back when they said they will.Quoted 7 to 10 days. Confirmed the date as 10 days. Still late. Total 26 days, 20 not including weekendsQuoted full job then added £350 after they'd started to do the work and refused to let the car go without payment. This was for work they'd not mentioned, and should have been included in the 'full job' quote.I asked for email quotes and never received any.A day after the repair 4 warning lights came on the dash and they told me they needed the car for a full day to plug in the electronic fault reader!

Wouldn’t recommend them to diagnose and fix a flat tyre never lone anything more complicated.They were recommended as Land Rover Specialist, my Range Rover had a problem with it’s air suspension, two messages “raising slowly” and “suspension will continue to raise when system cools down” or words to that affect. I told the manager this and he wanted to run a scan.They ran a scan and said the ride height sensor on front right was -2mm. They wanted it booked in to re-calibrate. I got hold of the work shop manual and it says the tolerance is +- 10mm. So this had nothing to do with the problem.I took it there and they ran a recalibration that took a lot longer than normal and then after 3 hours of me waiting handed me the keys with a £121 bill saying it was fixed.Drove down the road and same problem. Took it back and the guy started raising his voice and quite frankly was rude. I told him I was the customer which had little influence. He said to book it back in, but I would never go there again.I took it to Chichester 4X4 l, told them what the messages where, they said it needed a new compressor, this was fitted today and the car is fixed. I saw the old compressor and clearly it was worn out.The reason the calibration took so long was due to the compressor being worn out which is a common problem, you would think a specialist would know that!!!If you know anything about cars, or want to get value for money don’t go here.This echos other people’s experiences.

My clutch went whilst I driving and my normal garage was unable to take my car. I needed to find a garage before the recovery van got to me. A very good friend recommended A&D Autos. They agreed to take my car and they replaced my clutch & rear exhaust box. They managed to get my car back to me the following day which, was a miracle as it was just before the a bank holiday weekend! Thank you A&D Autos.

My car's alternator broke whilst on a short break in Bognor Regis. AA contacted this garage and they advised they would be able to repair before I was due home. From the moment I arrived at the office I was greeted by very friendly staff who assured me they would do their best to get me back on the road before I was due to check out. Every time ime I called for an update I was greeted politely and advised on the status of my car. They managed to get my car repaired and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this company

Ad Autos had our car and was told that the brakes where sqeeking and it wasn't braking properly also we needed the locking wheel nuts removed.... They removed the locking nuts OK and they wrote down rear brakes OK and stone found stuck in front brakes.. But they never checked the brakes so we still have been driving dangerous because of there neglect and it cost us £145.08 so don't go to them as they take your money in and fob you off... Dishonest and very unhelpful manager and jill in the office. Manager will ignore you if there is a problem and jill will try and fob you off
