Frauds and Scammers!!I would urge everyone to avoid this place at all costs. I gave them a brand new HP i5 laptop which had slight water damaged to the hard disk. Initially quoted 40£ cost but charged 120£ after fixing!A few weeks later the battery of the laptop was not working properly and laptop stopped working without charger. And later stopped working completely and required a battery change.It turned out after I got it checked that they took the original battery and put in a different one.Frauds and completely dishonest.Unless you want your money to be scammed avoid this place!!

WARNING THIS SHOP ARE THIEVES DO NOT GO TO IT AT ALL COSTSThey stole the ram from my laptop!!Quick summary: laptop is working fine, accidentally install virus, take to this shop, they dont let me see them repair but say ill see what virus is in the laptop come tomorow, come tomorrow they say £85 to repair, dislike the price, go to another shop they open infront of me and RAM IS MISSING!!!! PHONE CITY IS A SCAM

Absolute con artists, took my phone in to have it wiped. I called them back twice and each time I did they said they didn't have time to wipe it, and to come back after the weekend. I went back and they said my home button was faulty so they couldn't wipe it as my home button was faulty, they asked did I want them to fix it, I said no after all the messing about, they give me my dead phone back. I got home charged it up and now my touch screen doesn't work nor the home button, and the 2 screws that hold the screen in place are missing.

I came the other day with Yodel parcels to drop off and they refused to take it with no obvious reason!The guy said that it is regulation to not accept more than 3 parcels for one customer but I contacted Yodel and they denied that they have any particular regulations for the number of parcelsThe staff are not helpful at all

Avoid them at any cost. Most expensive phones accessories and printing services in longsight. Dhaardian rakhi hoi hain naqli look kay liay.They will also never entertain you for free parcel returns by making excuses that system is not working. Be it Amazon return or DHL return. Even though companies mention this poor shop on their websites for returns. I have sent complaint to DHL. Went to other DHL collection point to do it. I have recorded video in my phone. Don’t visit this shop, even if you do always record them.Edit: parcels were always ready with receipts printed and attached. They make excuses with their system. Then I go to other shops far from home, other shops don’t make excuses like Phone City.For photocopies they charge more than 1 pound per page. Go to other shop near TSB bank and get your prints in 40p per page.They will also ask you for extra 1 pound for PayPoint services. When they charge you extra, they don’t provide receipt so you can’t complaint. They do this especially to the students who arrive new to this country.

I given my iPhone 7 for screen replacement due to broken screen but took 10 days to replace screenI had to visit 6 times and totally damaged my phone ufffffffDon’t know anything about Iphone and no knowledge about repairsPlease don’t take any service from phone city in Stockport road.Think twice before giving your phone please

i left my laptop with them two weeks ago, and they said there’s an issue with the motherboard and with the charging port and that if i agree to the £100 price i can come collect it in one week. i go back a week later and apparently the part still hasn’t arrived, annoying but whatever ok fine. i went back again today (2 weeks after giving my laptop to them to fix) and he says that they can’t fix it and gave my laptop back to me??? bare in mind i’ve told them i have exams coming up and i needed it fixed soon, if you couldn’t fix it or couldn’t be bothered why not tell me earlier instead of wasting my time??? he also said he would call both times to tell me if it was ok to come collect and he didn’t call despite taking my number down twice? if you can’t fix something in future please tell the person in advance instead of wasting their time for so long.

Lack of good communication to customers. I requested to use the Internet and wasn't told how much it cost and duration. After 30mins the computer logged me out without the chance to save my documents. When I asked the reason, sale staff in shop told me it's not their duty to inform me. I challenged him and told him that's a very poor customer service as they should have made me aware it's £1.00 for 30mins to use the computer. He also told me, sorry he's not going to listen to me and that why did I come to their shop and not to come there again! Such a rude Sales Man with no respect to customers.

Gave my ipad 10.2 for battery replacement and they said get it after 2 days. 1 day later they suggested that the charging port is damaged so need replacing that. Get it 4 days later then came back and checked the ipad and they replaced the original screen by 3rd class screen and saying it breaks when we replace the screen .When i checked the ipad screen it had cracked screen in the inside . Then on top of that when i had enough the owner starting to speak to me rudely by saying why am i making things more complicated.If you say get it after 2 days then I suppose to get it after 2 days not week later .Now my recommendation to all of you guys is to avoid this shop at all cost .

Reasonable prices to fix phone but stay always over crowded.
