Absolute sharks. Dishonest. Avoid at all costs! You will be done at the end of the rental for hundreds of pounds!

My experience with this car rental company has been quite disheartening and unpleasant. I booked through Booking and was charged an advance payment, which was expected. However, upon arrival at the company to pick up the car, I was informed that I needed to pay an additional 550 euros, (if I wanted to take the car) which I thought it was a security deposit.Thinking it was part of the standard process, I agreed to pay the additional amount, but my surprise was immense when, upon returning the car, I was told that those extra 550 euros were actually for an insurance that I supposedly had contracted. At no point during the Booking reservation was I clearly informed about this additional insurance, let alone that it would be deducted in this manner.The lack of transparency in the information and the way the additional payments were handled left me with a sense of deception and frustration. I would have preferred to be clearly informed from the beginning about any additional charges, so I could make an informed decision on whether I wanted to acquire that insurance or not.

Hire a car from anywhere else but here.The salesman is extremely rude. Picking up the cars was a nightmare. Giving the cars back was worse. He inspected the two cars we’d hired in about 2 minutes. One car had the extra insurance on, one didn’t. Guess which car he found a tiny scratch on in his two minute inspection? So, beware of being stung by them if you hire the purple Fiat 500 as he’ll probably charge you for the same thing too.

Avoid these guys at all cost. Rude, dishonest and disorganised. Worth paying more to go elsewhere
