Tam, Akua and Natalie's classes make this gym. I've just finished an incredible work out with Tam (as always), incredible flow, the correct level of intensity, clear and constructed combos that work so well. Missed her so much whilst she's been away - if you want an incredible full body work out you know who to book. Thanks ladies, you all really are incredible. X

I joined this gym for the classes. Wrong choice. Classes are always super packed.I always follow the class outside of the studio even though I arrive at least 10 minutes earlier and I book the class! No one cares about booking priority, hygiene or safety. How can you lift weights so close to each others?! The limit should be 19 people (also considering the studio is VERY small) but I always count at least 25. How’s that? The manager doesn’t listen when explaining the issue, neither does the gym itself. I sent messages and emails hoping someone would care, but no luck at all. My boyfriend and I had to cancel the membership because it became a metter of safety. I don’t recommend this gym at all!

Normally I’d leave a better review. It’s a good little gym. Gets the jobs done.Equipment just needs a bit more tlc, all the equipment is new which is great but needs tlc to keep working well.The leg extension machine was down a few weeks, personally I feel this should have been rectified quicker, now that it has been fixed, it’s not been done properly.Feel like I’m doing half reps on the machine! Quite small, new equipment is good, maintenance could have been a bit better - sometimes there is no handwash, and that isn't hygienic, and machines take a while to fix. The air con was working. I don't know what happened after that. But all in all, it does what a gym should do.

Great equipment for the price good location, decent clients.Let down by the almost cool showers, especially in winter, only one toilet in the small men's changing room.

Decent puregym branch, everything you can expect! Parking is either at Lidl or you can park on the streets near but not between 12-2 i think. Check google street view! Nice enough :-)

Excellent space and equipment. Spread over 2 floors with a good variety of resistance machines and cardio. Weight training area is superb, lots of space and benches. Staff are friendly and fairly knowledgeable. Gym floor atmosphere and presence is positive with members contributing to good gym etiquette. Studio has a great space group exercise. Would recommend as it’s beginner friendly and also great for more experienced members. Good variety of fitness trainers and personal trainers. Catch the opening offers as soon as possible#Boloseason

I've started using Pure Gym Streatham about a month ago. The gym is well equipped, and classes are good. But there is an issue with hygiene. The ladies' bathrooms smell. I'm not sure whether it is a plumbing issue, but the smell is just awful and needs to be sorted ASAP. I can see some old reviews complain about it too. Sometimes, there is no hand-wash, which is gross. The other issue is that sometimes there are no paper towels to clean your mats and equipment after use. I hardly see anyone cleaning their mat after a class. They should be encouraged by the staff who run the class to clean them. I wanted to clean my mat today after using it, and once more, there were no paper towels upstairs. The anti-bac is sometimes empty, too. The anti-bac is also tied to its place so it makes it hard to use and the paper towels aren't the best to clean the equipment. Apart from that it's a good gym for decent price but they really need to step up and get the place clean.
