Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Elgin

Fantastic service! Hired a car from these today. The man (Eastern European I think, didn’t catch his name unfortunately) who I dealt with was 10/10, prepared for my arrival, polite and courteous. He showed me around the car, showed me all the gadgets in the car and sent me on my way. Never had such good service with any rental firm. Highly recommend this location. Thanks!

The big van we specifically booked for a house move, Scotland to Eastbourne, was not there when we collected. No real explanation. This added a huge amount of stress to an already difficult journey.At the Scotland end they tried to source the van, but couldn't find one either. The staff DID try to help to be fair, it seems the system they work in let them down.ADVICE - if you need a specific vehicle for hire, double check and push the staff to actually check it's available.

This place has a wee lefty in the office.This person claims it was ‘her office’ I had to remind her it’s her employers office.Lots of irrelevant questions that are info gathering. Told them the service was diabolical! Just mr apparently but I advised she read google reviews as there were others!Long and short she took offence, which I am entitled to do, but it was hardly offensive telling her the service was garbage.A claim against my insurer for breach of contract being drafted now. Their service is appalling also.Message to of the lefty, people are entitled to comment on poor service and if you find that offence we really are stuffed when the Russians come as you are not a mark on the women that went before and saw this country through hardship!I can imagine as soon as they say a rude would you would surrender!The service is still rubbish!

Absolutely terrible service! DO NOT BOOK ONLINE apparently their systems aren’t upto date on what’s available and my booking was cancelled that morning, they tried to call really early, I was sleeping and I missed the call thinking if it’s important they will leave a message if it was important or call back. No email was sent either like they said! I arrived at 12 noon to pick up the car via taxi with my two kids under 2 and 2 car seats and nothing else as I was going to nip home to get stuff for our holiday. They then informed me the booking had been cancelled and I was stuck there with both my kids for over 20 mins then I was told I could get a corsa which isn’t fit for the purpose I hired the car for (needed to travel to buy a double pram for my kids plus a prebooked weekend gettaway) unfortunately a double pram wouldn’t fit in the back of a corsa so I had to decline leaving me over £300 out of pocket for my accommodation and my taxi fares there and home, we were eventually kicked out into the cold to wait for our taxi home. I am absolutely disgusted by the attitude of a certain staff member and not offering anything to compensate their systems mistake. Even if I was told this morning it may have saved me the taxi fares but I was unable to get a refund for my accommodation/activities booked as it was too late, if the system had told me last night when I booked online I would have been able to get my money back. Shocking service and haven’t even received my refund yet. I would never use this service again, very very unreliable and disgusting attitude leaving me and my babies out in the freezing cold.

Car in really poor condition, pretty high in mileage and dirty seats. I think I got the car that nobody else wanted. I would not recommend or gamble hiring again from this branch.

When our car was waiting for a part, I was given a hire car as a replacement until it arrived. This turned out be a two month hire and the only saving grace throughout those two months were the Enterprise team.The staff were fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Great communication from everyone on the team that I dealt with and nothing was too much trouble. From the office staff to the folk turning the cars around at very short notice, this team are super! For various reasons, I had 3 different cars over a two month period. Handovers were quick, efficient and there was no stress involved at all.I really couldn’t be happier with my experience of the Elgin team. Thanks so much for all your help!
