B&Q Slough

Great store for DIY. I bought some PPE site boots. They let me try on different sizes because the reviews online said they are larger than the quoted size. So I am grateful to the staff at the till. The website says where items are so they can be easily found in the store.

Tidy, organised with tranquil music. The garden centre section looked immaculate. The new speed bumps are way too aggressive, even driving at snails pace they hit the bottom of my car.

I stood there and I even asked for help. LET ME TELLL YOU this white women actually sighed guys she looked at me was so miserable. the elderly glasses wearing curly hair lady was so unhelpful.i think she's a manager or team leader. if you have that position and you get paid more shouldn't you be better at your job? Dude those people do not enjoy working there. Do not expect any good service in slough.

This isnan absolutely massive store and brilliant for either the Diyer or trade. There's a brilliant range of tools, parts, building materials, plants, fitted kitchen and bathrooms and much much more! The staff are very knowledgeable and always happy to help. Parking is free and plentiful.

Ben is simply an awesome staff member. He cut wood i bought and had a great attitude, excellent customer services and he went the extra mile to look at the wood options I needed to buy, nails i was looking for, Spray paint i wanted to buy and some other items; he was very patient and deserves a promotion and a HUGE bonus! Thank you Ben, I really appreciate your efforts and patience. I am giving a 5 star because of Ben!It should actually be a 2 star as staff on the tills who I should have recorded are always on their phone with earpiece on and never acknowledge, greet or respond to customers even when talked to and, I just found out that i was charged for 2 hedge cutters!? Mistake obviously made as person at till was not paying attention and we were so upset that no one at customer services could give us our discount even after showing them all the emails to confirm a discount if we sent over £30; we actually spent over £200 in the last 2 weeks and every staff we spoke to even after seeing the email and the code for discount were not able to action it. Quite upset with that and will chase it up. Ben; again I thank you for your excellent customer services, cheerful nature and helpfulness which made my day especially how awesome it was for my 4 year old son to watch you doing the magic of wood cutting! :) Lovely experience; i highly recommend you for a promotion and If appropriate, would please like this commendations by me to be reference to your HR record for future reference.

A good place to have all household hardware requirements. From a small nail to wooden board, ceramic items, bathroom fittings everything you will find here.But one thing I will say that before going there you must have a good knowledge what you want to buy & how to fit it, bcoz assistant persons don’t have enough knowledge about that. They can guide you to find the item but they don’t have in details information.

Every time I go to B&Q Slough I get annoyed by those car park humps that are too steep. Once I bought some bigger flowers and by the time I got out of the parking lot they were ruined. Who the hell thought they were good so tough.

Conveniently located near the motorway and in a retail park with lots of free parking, and no coins needed for the trolleys. Large warehouse with friendly staff - although the Click and Collect counter needs rethinking as there is always such a long wait, and if a queue builds up you can't get past. Beautiful plants which are well looked after and you can also get some bargains.

Wouldn’t give a refund on perfectly fine, still packaged goods due to no receipt , even after admitting they had my receipt on their system but refused to print it off for me. This was after a call with customer services who confirmed they could in fact do this process. Went against trading standards, broke the law then laughed at me when I asked for cash instead of credit note. I wouldn’t shop here again if I had a gun to my head.

Used click collect service for items that come up to £44. Arrived at click and collect and I realised I had forgot my I.D. I explained to the first lady that it would take me a hour to go and come back and she was gona try help me out but she couldn’t due to policy. I showed my email confirmation and a picture of my I.D but they wouldn’t accept, which I understand.I spoke to the second lady who was standing there which I’m assuming was the floor manager. She was not helpful at all, I asked if she could just pass my the products so I could just pay for them again at the till and she refused because of store policy.I then went and picked 2 out of 3 items off the shelf as the 3rd one was not stocked on the shelf. I then went over to the second lady and asked if she could just give me the 3rd item from my click and collect order so I could buy it again as it’s not on the shelf.She refused again due to store policy. She said your items have to stay there until I come and collect them with I.D or you will get refunded after 7 days. I understand there is a policy in place but how easily they could have worked with me and come to resolution. They could of gave me that one product that I needed out of MY click and collect order and just replaced it with stock from the back as the website was showing 4 items available for that store.I not once shouted and I used manners while speaking.In the end I just went and go my I.D and collected my items.
