Rochelle's River Cafe
The food is a 1/5 at best, lack of local fresh ingredients, the bread you get with the soup is comparable to the supermarket value loaf you’d get at Tesco. In the past I’ve had cold chips, a cold burger and generally, most things are flavourless. Terrible vegetarian options (mostly cheese, egg and beige food). Friendly service and the beautiful view of river are the only reasons why I go back.

The service was really friendly, they couldn't do enough for us, and the food was lovely. Really lovely setting overlooking the river. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Excellent service, incredibly quick to serve cooked veg breakfast which was full of flavour, hot plates make all the difference.Come again I shall, recommended to lots.

Poor value for the price. I had a jacket potato with coleslaw and they were too lazy to make their own coleslaw ; instead they used supermarket coleslaw and not the nice one but the cheap and horrible one . Such a shame as the standard of food was excellent with the previous owners. The service was good though.

Good river side seating. Quiche and salad was tasty. Service was mixed. One person attentive and friendly. Another member of staff a bit abrasive and felt a bit awkward with ordering coffee's after lunch. Dog friendly. Access level.

Came in today for the first time as a group of 6 for breakfast.Was really impressed with everything. The food was delicious, we all cleared our plates.Can’t wait to come back again and try the cakes, they all looked incredible but I was too full.The coffee was also delicious.Can’t fault it!Thank you Rochelle’s.

I ordered veggie breakfast but dish quite small and not really tasty.The young lady who served me so helpful and polite.I will choose somewhere else for breakfast next time but for have a coffee yeah, nice place.

We visited for breakfast a few weeks ago. My partner had a cooked breakfast, but I wasn't sure as I have problems swallowing and choke really easily. But after a quick chat we sorted a solution out which wasn't on the menu but they had the ingredients in the kitchen and I managed to have scrambled eggs and baked beans. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely go back, the service food and view were great.

I would come for the view and the menu choices but not the coffee. Chips and ice cream are good if eaten separately! Jacket pot probably baked previous day and warmed up, filling was very good. Make sure you order desert separately from the main otherwise they will all come at the same time, that's why my 4 year old had ice-cream and chips together. See owners comment for future reference.

Nice cosy cafePlenty of seats inside and outside nice balcony outside overhanging the river great view relaxing with the sound of the river.The girls serving behind the till Pleasant and courteous. I found it rather bizarre how I ended up with a warm scone out of the microwave no jam maybe they should combine the two together. The toilet was clean and tidy and catered for all walks of life disabled and a changing platform for mum.
