I attended my first session with Tom and the Stafford group in January of this year. Prior to joining, communication with Tom was first class, and all my queries/questions were answered.That first session was a little daunting – meeting a group of people in an environment that was completely new to me. That daunting feeling lasted all of five minutes. Tom and the rest of the group were so welcoming, reassuring, and certainly put my mind at ease.Of course due to Covid19 our sessions were changed from physical to online sessions in April of this year. However, the group adapted well to the change and Zoom became the new norm.I always look forward to my Friday morning group – not just for the lip reading practice. This group is so much more than a lip reading class. It’s educational, informative, fun and supportive – all of which is so important in the current climate. Stef, December 2020

Tom's lessons are very laid back but very useful for hard of hearing people and his knowledge of everything we need to know to help us with are problem.We can discuss during lessons with each other some of the difficulties we have in every day life and get a solution for that situation .Tom lessons are fun and enjoyable and what he always says to us is that nobody gets it wrong,we are on a learning curve so no need to be feeling under pressure while learning.If you have a hearing problems this is the man you need.
