Hillstown Farm Shop

Went today to get lunch and support their sunflower field. Appreciate that it was busy but waited 15mins and although we were spied by staff, no one came near us with a menu. Went to go to sunflowers anyway but no one appeared there either. Very disappointed. Might try again to support them

Very busy cafe so service was impacted. Food was tasty and sunflower maze was very pleasant.

We have been buying their fabulous, fresh and tasty products since we moved to Northern Ireland just over a year ago. They never disappoint and are among the best we have ever tasted - the sausages, sausage rolls, stuffed pork loins, chicken, etcWe tried one of their turkeys yesterday for our Christmas dinner and out of thousands and thousands of turkey dinners we have had in our lifetime all around the world in restaurants, pubs, private homes, our own home, etc this turkey was - hands down - the best one ever! It was SO moist with little to no fat left on, so tasty - I honestly cant even fully describe just how good it was! From the moment we cut into it and the knife just slid through the meat so easily, we knew it was going to be fabulous!The family that owns this farm is the absolute best as well - so receptive and friendly and even when a small mistake has been made on our order, its rectified on the next delivery with no problemsWe consider ourselves so fortunate that we have such a world class provider of farm fresh quality products and produce right in our area, that deliver straight to our doorThey deserve every bit of business they getA very Merry Christmas to all of you!

Have previously been buying online, with free delivery. First time in shop, wonderful range of high class meat, trimmed and prepared to perfection! V helpful and friendly staff. Shop also bulging with amazing locally produced jams, chutneys, marmalade and bakery goods and fresh fruit and veg! Great visit 10/10, can't fault this business!!

Excellent quality, good value, free range chicken and pork. The shop is clean and pleasant and they also deliver.Updating my review to rave about the pies; both chicken and ham and the beef and onion are superb. The mince pies are okay but I prefer the chunky pieces of meat you get with the others.Pork and apple burgers are amazing and so are the pork burgers.Highly recommended.

Bad experience. I ordered £130 of a variety of steaks etc. Some of the beef fillets received were 1/4 inch thick and bright red in colour-- rather like braising steak. I emailed them to suggest that a mistake had been made but was told by the operations manager that it was due to the butcher and the variety of meat!! Who cuts fillet 1/4 inch thick?My further emails were ignored and I left as a very unhappy customer.

After reading a previous review of the resident farm dog attacking a visiting dog, I was reluctant to bring my kids and pup here, but as someone who replied to the review that the farm dog would be confined to their own space I assumed there would be no issue. Be aware that this is not the case. Today, the farm dog is still off the lead and able to wander about. Now, the owner may say that the previous incident was not in the dogs nature and out of character, but it only takes the one time for it to go for a child. Staff were hit a cold, some nice, some not so much. Seemed like we were a burden on their day to be up at the till ordering coffee. If this is not your practise, then I suggest you put signs up to tell customers what to do, as we weren't the only people at the till trying to order. I had the flat white, which was a fairly decent coffee, and the rocky road, which I'm sorry to say, the biscuits used were stale. The sunflower maze was actually quite a pleasant experience, even if the recent storm had blown alot of them down, this is by no means the farms fault, but it needed mentioned. We tried it, didn't like it, couldn't recommend to a friend, and wouldn't be back.

A Lovely friendly girl deliverd my order.but the pork&leak sausages were so salty i could not eat them as i dont use a lot of salt.i have not tried the rest of my order but i will amend my review when i have.

I am impressed at the quickest delivery, from 35 mins drive away. Just not expecting it but really glad. I ordered 4am few hours later got the delivery. I ordered once ages ago..I guess it just very good timing of ordering with delivery area!. Get daily email summation.. in one of them chicken deal offer what tempted me to order and among it few others. Good deal and right sizes for me and my son in need of foods at this min! ThanksPS Very nice sausages stuffing favoured are tasting! chicken fillets too that as far I get. One of onion is particular huge. I understand it not common for any shops really so real nice thoughtful to put in a particular large one among few normal sized onions. Vegs are good firm. I def be looking into this shop delivery again soon.
