This is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The food is tasty, the service was very good with just the right amount of attentiveness shown, and no sense of rushing us to finish. We enjoyed the chicken with black bean sauce and the crispy beef with chili. We also had fried rice. The portions are good size and we did not leave hungry. We also had some tea and desert which I recommend to wind up a delicious meal. My wife enjoyed the lemon sorbet and I had the coconut pudding which is more like a coconut custard. Both were very good. We highly recommend this restaurant, and as you will see, it is very well decorated. This is our new go to Chinese restaurant when we are in London.

The food here is excellent. I have been a couple of times, and will come again. Pretty good selection of dim sum, but the main courses are the stars of the show. The suckling pig, pictured, was excellent. It was somehow cooked so the top layer was jelly like, not fatty. One of my top Chinese restaurant picks.

This place was highly recommended by a reliable source! And I was really exited to have this option in London for Chinese food. As soon as I got in the restaurant, I was transported to China. The place es beautiful. The food look amazing, the portions and presentation were excellent. However, I was disappointed about the lobster dumplings. When I tried them, I felt a strong flavour of prawn. I tried it again after few other dishes and the same prawn flavours came back. The next step was to check the filling. You can judge yourselves on the las photo I posted. It’s a prawn! So please, next time I’d love to try a real lobster dumpling!

3.5 stars. Large Chinese restaurant close to Baker Street tube station. Interior is clean and tastefully decorated and has a pleasant ambiance. I was less impressed with the food. Is was ok, but didn’t match the surroundings or expectations. Crispy pork was not all that crispy (why on earth put salad on top to spoil the crispy skin?), tofu portion was on the small side and the spicy lamb had a little too much vinegar for my liking. The dishes were tasty enough, but could have been better. However, I should mention that the service was excellent - fast, friendly and patient.

Good dim sum place that’s made very fresh. Forgot to take photos but was impressed with most food. Though fried rice and noodles were a bit oily, pork bun wasn’t really for me and the mango pomelo sago was a bit too sweet for me, everything else were really good. It’s pricey but it’s not bad for the standard you get. A big plus is that you could book tables there

Excellent and authentic Cantonese cuisine in London! We ordered a mixture of classic dishes and they all exceeded our expectations. I recommend the hot and sour soup, the aromatic duck, yuk sung lettuce wraps, prawn cheung fun and the scallops with asparagus. The quality of the food is very good and there is a good variety of seafood on the menu.

I went for a solo dim sum lunch last week to the Phoenix Palace. I haven’t been for a few years so was exited to see if it kept the standard from my past visits. The restaurant is well located near Baker Street station. It’s a huge venue with a nice Chinese decor. This would be ideal for a group experience. The restaurant had a dim sum menu, normal restaurant menu but also specials for lunch and specials dim sum list. The place also catered for a solo visit as dim sum came in portions of 3. The service was great and food came out at a good speed. It was averagely priced too compared to some of the pricer venues located nearby. The food is very tasty. The beef balls were some of the tastiest I’ve had. The Cheung fun with fried dough was delicious and the dough was nice and crispy. The Xiao long Bao was flavourful but the dumpling was not as thin as other places and the soup was not as juicy. I also had a dumpling off the special menu had spicy pork mince with peanuts

I’ve only ever been here for dinner over the past 20+ years and quality of food has always been great. So came here for dim sum. Food was just as good. There’s a good selection of dim sum available and some new style ones like the steam rice rolls with crispy dough and prawns. Spare ribs were quite large compared to other restaurants. The beef crispy noodles and ho fun dish was nasty, with a good amount of beef. I wasn’t disappointed.
