The Runswick Cafe resurrected! Great to see this open again, under new ownership.It isn't the old cafe business - that closed down. This new business has slimmed down food options right now: pre-made sandwiches, breakfast baps pre- 11am, cakes and a lovely range of ice creams. The usual coffe, tea and hot chocolate.Yes, they presently use disposable cups, but we were glad to see it open again.The barista was cheery and gave great service.The view is fabulous. There's a public toilet block nearby.No dogs allowed inside the cafe, sadly.It can't be easy to run a small business along this stretch of coast so fair play to those who took it over, refurbished inside, and brought back a cafe.

Great cafe. Very friendly staff. Wonderful bacon sandwich and good coffee and cake. Opens at 9 now instead of 10 and you are welcomed in!

This used to be a great cafe - now its cardboard cups, pre prepared sandwiches and the place has gone downhill. No more fresh baked scones and cakes etc. Such a shame in a beautiful location

Got here before the cafe was open so hung around a bit. The place was tidy and clean with varanda neatly arranged. We ordered some cold drinks and then two coffees and two bacon sandwiches which were prepped and delivered quickly. Nicely toasted bread with plenty of filling, served in a paper carton with napkin. Coffee was hot and tasty too. Not too expensive either, considering the location. Very pleasant and amiable staff, nothing was too much trouble. Can definitely recommend if you are visiting the bay.

I've visited the cafe over many years but on the last visit I found it had changed ownership. The cafe has had a makeover and looks great. Called in for a coffee whilst on a very wet 25 mile hike on the Cleveland Way. The staff were very helpful...

Great view of the bay, cakes, coffee. A limited choice of pre-packed sandwiches. Friendly staff. Also sells buckets, spades, windmills, balls etc.

Busy beach front cafe. Good service, average prices. Ovelooks picturesque Runswick Bay. Of note is the very limited arking and the steep hill if you walk.
