You can't go wrong with a Spoons" Not the best one I've been to but food and drinks are cheap. Helpful staff*Revisited July 2020. Visited for breakfast. Considering rules are easing oiver the Coronavirus

Its a local run down Spoons but the staff are really nice and the locals are happy. Food is quick and classic Wetherspoons. Pints are cold and plentiful, there's a little beer yard in the back and parking at the front. Coffee machine is usually working which can be unusual for a spoons. One of the more affordable places to drink in the area.

Best coffee around and one can drink as many as one wants but I find that 7 cups is enough so usually have a couple of hot chocolates to finish off

As far as Wetherspoons go this isn't a great one. Many staff slow, even for a Wetherspoons. Real ales not well kept or maintained. Good ok but often has issues. Really it's the prices that's gain the 'ok' in terms of the 3* award.

One of the better Wetherspoons we've visited in recent times. While food and drinks are very reasonably priced and decent quality, the service can be a problem. Every time we've been it's been busy, and every time only one person serving at the bar means very slow service. We've taken to using the app to order food and drinks, but service is still slow.We'll be back because it cheap.

One thing i can say is that it needs more staff, each time we have been in you always have to queue as there is only 1 possibly 2 members of staff on the bar. The time is tea time Fridays or Saturdays. But apart from that we've enjoyed our drink. X

Food is not the best quality and always served on those awful plates free refill on coffee and tea. Beer is cold.

Nice weatherspoons pub friendly staff decent food well prepared good selection of drinks at a great price what's not to like very clean and tidy it's just a shame that apparently this one is in the list to close soon.
