Had a great wee afternoon in Portrush and bought three pair of shoes in Hoods Shoerack. There was a great assistant and she couldn't do enough for me. Well pleased.

Did a return rail trip to Coleraine while on holiday. Station has seen better days; it’s a bit tatty and dilapidated. Not in keeping with the rest of the town, which is great! Given Portrush is going to host the Open in 2019…

Nice and quiet train station (unless it is a weekend / bank holiday...)Toilets are clean and modern.There is a small waiting area with about 20 seats. The station is staffed by several employees.Boarding here might feel a little rushed, but the train will wait for everyone to get a board of a train to Coleraine.

Low grade train station always has been absolutely pathetic compared to the Coleraine station. Just slightly better than the awful bus stop. Paying public deserve much better. Is it even possible for a rail and bus stop like Coleraine. New station on the way can only be better than the present one. Real pity it wont be a intergrated bus and rail station with vision and determination could it have been intergrated ? . But well done for a very long overdue redevelopment .

Please note any reviews pre 2019 don't count anymore, station has been completely upgraded or rebuilt and is spotless a pleasure to visit.. Well done Translink!!?

Any reviews prior to 2019 (when Portrush hosted the Open golf tournament and the town got a bit of a spruce up) no longer valid.The small station is perfectly fine, good toilets, plenty of cafes/takeaway places nearby.
