Ivy's Nails

I have read previous reviews and I must have visited a different shop. The staff were rude. The pedicure was fine but gel nails were poor. Constantly mentioning price. This is extra, that is extra. Very unfriendly. Shop is always empty when I pass. Won’t be using again.

Visited today to get my nails done. There was only a short wait. Very pleased with my nails, exactly what I asked for :)

Walked into shop. Nobody even acknowledged my presence. Said hello and can I wait for a walk-in slot? Again, not one technician lifted their head. Walked straight back out again. Do not go here!!

My new nail polish! The staff at Ivy's Nails are amazing. The salon is clean and tidy with a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended! My nails have never looked better, I will definitely be back :)

Awful experience, waste of time and money. I booked a treatment for my sister as a birthday treat but they did a rushed job as there were quite a few customers waiting. We had booked in advance but when we got there the staff were busy with other clients and we were kept waiting without so much as any acknowledgement, never mind a friendly greeting or offer of a beverage. The salon was untidy with packing boxes strewn about, like nobody there cared about the impression customers would get.The woman was mannerless and kept talking to her colleague across the shop in their own language, very rude with zero customer service skills. She rushed the manicure, my sister was very disappointed as this was meant to be a pampering treat, she was made to feel like she were inconveniencing them! Then they didn't accept card payments, it was cash only, there was no record made of the appointment, no receipt for payment; sure signs the staff are stealing from the salon owner who is definitely dodging taxes. The cash went straight into this staff member's pocket as they made sure there was no record of the appointment having been made or carried out. Sleazy place, avoid it.

The staff here are so friendly. They check every detail to make sure you are happy with the service. My nails always look amazing and last for ages. I have become a repeat customer and wouldn't go anywhere else now .

Typical nail salon, ignore reviews saying about mess, yes it is a bit messy in there and communication isn't great, but one of the best sets I've had done in Essex. Really pleased. Don't expect a nail salon that had good prices to be perfect inside but more than happy with my nails and can't wait to return for infills :-)

Loved my nails after visiting Ivy's nails. The young girl who did them was friendly and checked I was happy with the colour as the swatches did not represent what the actual colour looked like due to fading so not really worth choosing from the samples. Although I made an appointment I had to wait almost half an hour hence the 4 stars not 5. I was concerned my parking would run out however the girl was so quick I had very nice fingers and toes in no time. Can't complain about the finish at all very well done.

Had my nails done for the first time here today. I’ve tried 3 other places in town and this has to be the best experience I’ve had. They were so welcoming and chatty. They listened to what I wanted. I absolutely love my nails. This is my nail shop now!
