TGI Fridays - Southampton Retail Park
Very tatty old TGI Fridays. This place needed gutting and refurbishing about 15 years ago. We won't go back. They've allowed it go get very dated. Booth seats are so cramped. Not a stylish, ambient, clean or relaxing environment to eat in. Staff were friendly and helpful but they need to sweep floors far more frequently and the company need to totally renovate the building.

An unmatched bottomless brunch experience, made better by good drinks, good food, and excellent service from Erica and Mike.We booked in advance, and were greeted by Mike who sorted us out straight away with menus and our first order. The food arrived in good time, and was absolutely delicious, and great value for money. The vegan choice was also very impressive. The drinks arrived promptly, and our server Erica was always available when we wanted to make another order. Generally, the atmosphere was really lively and comfortable, and the facilities were well kept and clean. We had a fantastic time, especially since Mike and Erica were so kind and friendly, and really matched our energy as a group. We will definitely re-return, and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a fun bottomless experience, especially as there is currently no need to book in advance. Thank you!!

Rather poor quality food deteriorated over timeClearly lack of consistency on food qualityTasteless offer and rely on plenty of sauces to make it upIt’s better to go to MacDonald next door and cheaper as wellService is great and seems to be under a protocolNot great value for money with the given food quality

Food was really nice except the steak, it wasn’t cooked as we asked for it to be and meat was really chewy. Employee and manager took it professionally, we got apologised and the steak was refunded. Beef burger and chicken wings were delicious. Also we had cocktails and the have 2 for 1 offer which is really good.

Polite staff, quick serviceOrdered a cup of tea, half a small cup arrived, however by asking for a pot of hot water managed to salvage the lame offering by popping my teabag in the pot and had 2 delicious cups of tea instead.Food outstanding, couldn't fault it. Hot, delicious, well presented

Went to celebrate anniversary with my wife. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the place was clean, decorated. Music was a bit too loud in the lobby, but inside was just fine, even for our baby. Food was delicious and didn't take long to get it after placing our orders.

I just want it first known that our Server, this lovely woman was absolutely amazing.However, the place has so many chairs jammed in that the person behind me was whacking my chair every time they moved. There is also no attempt to keep children parties separate from adults. I completely understand why, but having children screaming next to you, doing the obnoxious happy birthday and then just generally being a nuisance really dimmed the atmosphere and made it a lot less pleasant.Now the real problem. The food was abysmal. Utterly overpriced for one, but the glazed chicken I had was SO sweet, I couldn't even finish it though I tried. I also paid an extra £2 to upgrade to sweet potato fries; which were just crispy oil really. Didn't taste anything and wasn't any substance. Annoyingly, the house fries my partner got were the best thing about the food. We also got the dessert platter: the crumble pie tasted like an overly strong mince pie, the honeycomb cheesecake was okay, not very rich and the chocolate cake was fine. The vanilla ice cream didn't taste like vanilla and was just plain...We also got mocktails; nice flavour at first but then the 3/4 a cup of crushed ice showed not only how little drink there was, but watered it down to nothing.I came away super disappointed and regretted going. Waste of money.

Amazing food, service amazing and lovely and clean.Husband said he likes the sauce and was given a free sauce and we were given a slice of cake to share for our anniversary.We will definitely be visiting again!

Fine for a quick bite, but do not set your expectations too high...this is chain food at its best. I had the cajun Fri-jita and honestly it was pretty good. The menu is big an diverse so there is something there for everyone. The decor is pure chain. But credit where credit is due, over server Ricardo was a lively fellow and he made us feel welcome. That's important. I might not rush back here but I would visit again. It's fine.
