My damp proof course was either damaged or installed badly, and I had serious damp and mould in what was to be my baby son’s nursery so I contacted Protective Preservations Damp Proofing.They came round promptly, within 48 hours, provided a summary of what was required and a quote that I thought was reasonable for the work.The work was carried out professionally and successfully, with a minimum of disruption. I was able to continue with my redecorating and the damp/mould problem was sorted.Thoroughly recommend John and his team. I would happily use them again without hesitation.

I had an extremely damp wall, which I initially thought was condensation, but it turns out the wall needed to be inserted with a waterproof solution. Protective Preservations inspected the wall for free and filled me with confidence that they would be able to sort the issues.Their price was highly competitive and I would recommend to anyone having damp / mould issues.

We were happy with the work done and the speed at which they resolved the issue. However, we felt that they left a bit too much of a mess in the house (they did not bring a hoover), and were disappointed that they left us to dispose of the non-building work waste (i.e. their lunch wrappers)

Soon after issues arose but it was only recently that I stumbled across the email chain of the company and contacted them about the guarantee. Sara first lied and told me the date of the certificate had already expired and then after digging further in my emails and sharing the certificate

These guys are great! They came out, did a survey and gave me a quote within the space of about 30 mins. Booked me in the same day and within a week the patch of rising damp I had on my wall had been sorted. They were friendly, quick and tided up well after themselves. Would highly recommend this company!
