Can't fault my birthday lunch at the plainsman they have a main menu, a brunch menu and a senior menu and a children's menu we ate from the senior main and children's menus easy to read easy to order and the food comes out hot and tasty. We will be returning again thank you

Tonight we went with our old friends for a meal. It was most enjoyable. The food was delicious & hot. The staff were very attentive & nothing was too much trouble. It was a most enjoyable experience & we will definitely dine here again. Pat Parker.

Great place to go and watch sports or play a couple games of pool with friends. Service was good & beer was cold, plenty of choice! Only downside is the toilets are very unkept!

What an amazing and friendly place to go for food and drinks. Staff couldn’t be any more helpful and welcoming. Especially the manager Sarah and Jacko. Had a lovely meal and everything was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend

Excellent night.We can her for my Dads 75th birthday.Staff were excellent and very attentive.Drinks selection good.Menu inviting and varied.Food was served promptly, piping hot and as ordered.A credit to Sarah and the team - thank you!

Often go there for a pie and a Pint. Very good quality food and good size helping. I only usually go in the daytime and it has a very settled atmosphere with a steady stream of customers.

The meal was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very relaxed. The menu was a decent size with some good choices for a reasonable price and as a bonus theres parking at the back. I will definitely be back.

Had a relaxing breakfast/brunch and was well looked after by Sarah and her team. Lovely touch with the dog menu too. Will be back next time we're in Nottingham.

Awful food, everyone’s plate was brought out at different times, steak was brought out within the first 2 minutes of ordering it and majority was pure fat!! Wouldn’t recommend
