Great staff, good atmosphere but lack of food let it down. Just spent a week here with two children and tried to eat here every day for breakfast or lunch/dinner. Unfortunately the only starter they had available all week was calamari, they didn't have any fruit or pancakes or cheese, or quorn by the end of the week and they also were rationing sugar all week. Only one or two dishes on each menu was available when we asked staff. Staff told us it was supply issues. Management of the Boathouse need to do better as it seems to be a continuing problem.

There's nothing to really write home about, I'm afraid to say!Whilst there is a dog friendly indoor area, it's tucked well away and not particularly comfortable and very little atmosphere.The food we ordered was delivered quickly enough and on the whole was tasty, but it could have been a lot hotter (not long enough in the microwave!!)Kids turned up and rode an electric scooter through the area, along with others bouncing a football about, there were people smoking in the outdoor covered and boxed in area..... I have to wonder?!?!Was over £10 for 2 drinks - a pint of lager and a pint of cider! A meat feast sharing platter is £13.99. So this isn't the cheapest of places to eat!Staff were friendly enough.

ABISMAL.First night ordered mix grill with the steak well done.The steak came out like a rock from another planetThe sausage was well done is a understatement.The egg and peas were missing. The gammon looked as if it jumped out of the frying pan.God knows if I would of added extras. Complaits to the chef.BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.Second evening order burger and chips.It didn't get any better! 7 things on a plate and 3 things missing. No coleslaw, no mayonnaise and no tomatoes. The response from the waitresses there's a shortage of tomatoes" surely she shouldn't be taking the order of tomatoes if its on the menu and can't be supplied. Not even a refund.I'm giving the third

Food was reasonable, served fast, staff were amazing. Would highly recommend, and very easy on the wallet too!

Absolutely shocking! Kids sizes portions ridiculous considering the price to pay! When complained we were told me didn't make the prices! C*** customer service, overpriced food for the extra small portion sizes! Wouldn't recommend, save your money and go else where!
