Amazing that this exists. It's a community center, store, toilet, place to be. Incredibly friendly, funny staff and locals coming and going. Buy the little book on The House for Essex (£5) and then walk down the road a bit to see it. They also sell a snow globe of it if you're feeling really quirky. Can park at the train station for a pound or so.

I'd been wanting to pop in and look around for ages , we do.e here often to look at the Grayson Perry house. Shop is well stocked and carry some intresting local produce as well as more widely known brands , the ladies serving were cheerful and friendly and the whole shop had a lovely villagy feel to it . It adjkins the railway station of Wrabness which has a volunteers tended garden which is lovely to sit in .

The Essex side of The Stour remains a very rural & isolated walking stretch of coastal path. The ONLY opportunity to obtain refreshments between Manningtree & Dovercourt is at the Wrabness Community Shop. It's easy to find at Black Boy Lane, on the village crossroads, (nearby Wrabness railway station & A House for Essex...)

An excellent stop in the middle of the beautiful countryside! Not only does this shop have a supply of groceries, but a hot water machine if you’d like a cuppa! Well worth a stop off on a cycle ride. Open 9-4 during the week.

What a friendly little shop to find half way through our walk - they also have a lovely Cafe area with chairs inside and out and most important a toilet which is always a welcome sight to walkers - there is a website where you can check out opening times etc
