My son likes to go. He likes baked potatoes..when they haven't run out! Caramel latte for me, no caramel for weeks! It's Asda, a supermarket. Full of potatoes and some sort of caramel syrup. Staff need to smile too.

Lovely friendly helpful staff and I spotted two go out of their way to be especially friendly and helpful to the elderly and young they were nice to everyone else but the two age groups above they could not have been nicer too.

I won't be in a rush to return! There were no dairy alternatives available for me to order a hot drink, despite there being oat milk and soya milk on the shelves in the shop, absolutely ludicrous. Nearly every single table had plates on so I had to move them and sit at a dirty table which hadn't been cleaned. Then I waited 25 minutes for a mediocre toastie..

Given this place a few chances now as it’s convenient and at first glance “appears to be good value for money” but finally today come to terms with the fact that it’s not getting any better so won’t be visiting again. First visit encountered the most rude woman behind the till. Refused to honour a deal that was clearly on the poster printed in the T&Cs and wouldn’t look at the poster to even see if what I was asking was correct. She Followed that by complaining we had ordered hot food so said we would be waiting as it’s her that was cooking it and then slamming our food down in a huff when it was ready. Felt like an inconvenience more than a customer. Visited again today, ten past 12 in the kids holidays lots of families in the Que in front of us. Even someone not in the catering industry could easily predict that would be the case but they were all told there were no sandwiches left and turned away. With the kids eat for £1 deal it could have been something they were relying on. Having had the sandwiches before they are ones made by themselves (slice of bread and some cheese spread) so don’t see how they could have possibly ran out at that time when it takes two seconds to make. With a supermarket full of bread and cheese spread attached. Seemed more like they couldn’t be bothered making more. Then Seeing the staff member pulling a face at a customer when she had her back turned just highlighted that it wasn’t just the previous lady that was unprofessional.

Called in for a brew. Teapot was rancid inside and out with a crack down the side and chunk out and don't get me started on the mugs. They'd not been cleaned. Stained dark brown inside and tea dribbles down the outside. Went back for a clean one and that was just as bad. The excuse.....oh the manager won't give me new ones. Never heard of washing up liquid and a sponge? If I could give less than 1 I would.

Only gets a 1 star as it wont allow me to give none!! Terrible customer service and flexibility. Stood in que from 11.45 arrive at till at 12.03. No longer allowed a 12 item breakfast...having asked a staff member while in que about a breakfast and being told theres no way you'll get to the till by 12" disgusting customer service! Being a caterer myself there is no way i would refuse a customer for the sake of a couple of minutes. Its not even as if they suddenly cant cook sausages

Tried the £1 soup and coffee deal for the over 60's . Overall a very humiliating and horrible experience. Diappointing and embarrassed doesnt cover it. Asked for the soup and roll offer. The Lady shouted out that they don't have any soup? Oh? There's an offer on your board. So my friend said do you have an alternative ? I'll ask. The lady in the kitchen shouted across it's just warming up. Oh that sounded promising then. So I asked was a latte included in the deal? She laughed out loud and very mockingly. Asda aren't going to give that for free!!. The advert on their board clearly said soup and a coffee. However, I said oh ok then thank you. Both myself and friend were treated coldly and very rudely. We had our ID ready just incase it was the reason for the bad reception.I kid you not! Some minutes later the smallest bowl ever seen before in asda came out with tomato and basil in it. Also not hot and just tepid. We couldn't face going back to ask for it to be warmed. The coffee we had was watered down, stewed tasting like it was from an urn and was quite frankly vile. In the end we just couldn't finish either. On return home I measured some liquid in one of my grand children's small bowls and I estimated approximately 100 -150 ml of soup maximum. Such a horrible experience, never to be repeated.Asda please teach your staff some customer service skills and a bit of courtesy. It was a shameful experience and very demeaning, that really doesn't help anyone in need. It was so uncomfortable and unnecessary.

Located within Asda store barons quay this cafe has ample seating. Queuing can sometimes take a while if you go at busy times mainly because there is only one coffee machine and not because the staff are slow. You can only go as quickly as the machines will allow i suppose. All of the Cafe staff are very polite friendly and helpful. There is table service here. It is reasonably priced. Asda cafe have Drinks loyalty cards. Get 6 stamps on your card and receive a free coffee.
