A great place to walk, to see lovely country side and listen to the birds, yet within a stone's throw of the village of Ystradgynlais. A great place to spend a couple of hours away from it all

Nice quiet spot for a stroll or dog walk, with a choice of hard or rough paths. Just a shame that there seems to be no signage at all to it! At the weekend, we just parked in the school car park.

Just off cycle route 43. A lovely spot for a break. Wlid sanctuary for butterflies and meadow plants.

Calling this a nature reserve is a bit much. It's a narrow strip of trees in an area that has been mined heavily. The view from the top was pretty bleak too. It's sad how much mankind has torn up the landscape in this country that even a few trees amongst the wind turbines and spoil heaps counts as a nature reserve". Poor nature."

Beautiful place for walks and cycling. Beautiful views. Amazingly well maintained by the wildlife trust who do an incredible job
