Western Cabs

I've had to take a lot of taxis over the last couple of weeks and always use western cars. It's been rather nice. I've had many conversations including politics and religion to the very charming drivers you send. They are always very punctual, professional, personal, polite, and (any other positive keywords I could think off) many thanks. Also the ladies who answered the phone always happy which is nice to hear in somebody's voice. It's all good!

Fast efficient, well knowledgeable as expected with luxurious and well looked after cause the drivers are really respectful and polite. From my experience. Using this company. You should most definitely feel confident that although every company may have those in ploy, it doesn’t represent the values in my experience of this company, so far five stars is not enough, They’re really well priced which is important. Many drivers in my past experience, using taxi services often find ways to add the pound and the pennies wherever they can. This is most definitely not the case and the app links to the company is a great way to see where your driver is, how much it will cost you, and the journey time this alone deserves five stars for its flexibility, easy access

Excellent booking service my driver today was polite. Joined our conversation which was most welcome even helped us carry our shopping to the door and wished us a merry Christmas. So we thanked the guy and gave him a generous tip. Service such as this guy gave us is hard to come by these days. He well deserved every single quid. Thankyou.

Excellent service. Both journeys to and from the hospital we’re smoothe comfortable and punctual. Both taxi drivers complete gentlemen, kind friendly and courteous. My family and I have been using western for several years and we have had very good service. Thank you to all the taxi drivers and call centre staff. I am very grateful. I gave the postcode of the destination to the office when I booked over the phone. I asked for a price - was told £15. Booked it. Despite all this info the driver got lost on the way to the destination. What should have been a 25- 30 minute journey ended up being 45 mins. Not only that- he was v rude and charged me £35 even though it was his fault that we got lost. Very rude when I pointed this out to him. (He claimed he didn’t have the right address and there are multiple offices as multiple taxi companies are merging together- I appreciate it’s a hectic time for the company but this is not my problem to deal with and pay for their mistakes and lack of organisation). He then tried to ask me if I would like a lift back with him for my return journey. V rude driver. Poor service and I will not recommend them or use them again.

Today you let me down. I made a booking allowing plenty of time to get me to the station. I phoned to find out where the car was 5 minutes after the requested time. I was eventually told he was a minute away. He was nearly 15 minutes late. Not acceptable. I got in the car, told him he was 15 minutes, that I had a train to catch in 5 minutes and that I expected a free ride. He uttered not one word. I missed my train so lost my seat reservation. Angry doesn't even cover it.

I booked a taxi, using their automated system, which I though was useful. Waited 45 minutes for this taxi before I phoned and got through to a person, who could see my booking, asked to put me on hold while he checked where the taxi was/how long it would be, was on hold a couple of minutes then hung up on. Very rude!

We booked a cab to and from Derby station yesterday. Arrived on time, good rates and the drivers were friendly and polite. Will be using the taxi firm from now on

Outward trip - Car arrived fast, as usual, pleasant journey too. App has improved.Return journey today not great - first tracked taxi on the app disappeared, second took another 10 minutes to arrive and overshot, so took another couple of minutes more. Not normally a problem but the battery on my oxygen equipment was getting low. Driver was then rather rude... Very much a game of two halves today!

The driver was polite and efficient and even arrived early. It was a pleasant journey, which I always get with Western Cars.
