Excellent customer service throughout, took my car for an MOT on a recommendation from a friend. Car failed on rear brake discs but they ordered the parts and fitted the discs and did the retest on the same day for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use this garage again and recommend to friends and family

Can't fault this garage, my Mercedes failed its MoT with a broken back spring. They went out of their way to ensure the follow up and issue of a clean MoT was speedy and pain free. Retest was in the initial price. Great service, good mechanics.

Accepted my car for a MOT at very short notice. It passed with flying colours and no silly advisories like 'plastic undershields fitted'. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.

Arrived for an MOT but the place was so full of vehicles there was nowhere to park my car on site (and nowhere practical to park nearby). Access was blocked and space was really tight so I had to do a U-turn to get out. Called up and they were unapologetic. Reviews say they're really good, but didn't get chance to find out as I couldn't get to it. Big inconvenience.Update in answer to garage's response - The MOT bay was free but was obstructed by vehicles on both sides and couldn't be accessed. No apology was offered over the phone, this isn't true. The two 'extra' car parks mentioned: one belongs to a car wash and was blocked by traffic cones, the other belongs to a pre-school and has a no parking notice. I was on a tight schedule, that's why it was important for me to get my car in at the agreed appointment time - which wasn't possible - and now I can't legally drive my car for the rest of the week. The tone of the response to a legitimate complaint (basically saying this was my fault) shows a very poor attitude towards customer service.

Went in for service and MOT, afterwards had a leak from oil sump plug which they got straight back in and fixed as the seal had become damaged when off. Friendly and helpful staff.

Recently took my car there for a service & an issue with my back windscreen wiper. My car was ready to be picked up within 1 hour & 30 minutes and to my surprise it had been cleaned on the outside too!The new owners are very welcoming and it's fairly priced!

I've used Berties for the past 3 MOTs including todays usually my brother would take the car but I offered to take it today and the staff from Sharon on reception to Josh who did the MOT and headlight polish for me was friendly and welcome. Found they are the only Garage that hasn't tried to rip me off so willing to travel the 20 miles to go to them and they also fitted me in at short notice great team and family run business will defo recommend to others

Thought my car was a write-off. They fixed what we knew was broken one side and they did the other as it was about to break. They definitely quoted me fairly on the price and I will always go back. Hard to find honest, competent mechanics. These guys are great. Tried the others round here. You wait longer n pay more if they fix it at all.
