I come here occasionally for a few bulk items that are cheaper here but always have a look around. It is great for hair products and bathroom essentials like toothpaste, bath salts, shower gel etc. Their toilet rolls are good value, and surprisingly good quality. They are also great for lunchbox essentials and snacks and they have a good range of home essentials - bathroom and kitchen appliances / utensils etc. You can even pick up a shower curtain for around £5. It is also well stocked and always clean and tidy.The only downsides are some of the other customers, who have mouths like sewers and stares that could pierce you - and one or two members of staff, who have similar icy stares and would rather talk across you than actually serve you. This is a minority though and this review has been updated to reflect that.Overall it isn't bad. Just avoid eye contact...!

I love Home Bargains. I tend to go in for one thing and come out having spent £100. You can get everything from home wear to toys to food.The staff are always really friendly too, which is a bonus.

I have had a strange feeling that the shop is just for short visit and you need just to grab something inexpensive and go. I have not found what i was looking for ( drapes hungers) ) the shop is not offering a special experience that you find the prices for the wanted products. I’m still confused about what is alternative for? I must study the profile of the shop to understand better what is it for looks more of a neighbourhood store full merchandise but still need to get to another shop for your specific shopping. Not what I expected. Small parking even I was first in the morning looks almost full.

Typical Home Bargains.Large product range at keen prices with often hard to find items that used to be commonplace in availability.Clean and tidy store with good width aisles, clean and tidy with helpful staff.Well worth the visit.
