Took my e bike in to have my breaks done, did front and back plus fitted a new break cable all for less than what a bike shop in Whitefield wanted to just look at it. Will definitely be taking my bike here again if I need any work done

WOW!! what a great guy Dan at King Kog is...Took my bike to King Kog on Friday morning because it had had front brake and gear issues. Dan said he was really busy and couldnt look at the bike till Monday which i was ok with but after chatting with him and mentioning that i only use the bike to go to and from work he said he would try to look at it on Saturday which would allow me to use it on Monday.Left the shop with a glimmer of hope that he could fit it on Saturday. Low and behold 4 hours after leaving the shop i received a text saying the bike was done and ready for collection.Now that's customer service...on picking the bike up the gears were now working perfectly and the front brake was bang on. Dan said that the front brake caliper was not correct and that it needed changing, my first thought was oh here we go, how much is this gonna cost me?FREE yep thats right FREE. Dan had a spare one just sitting on the shelf and he fitted it free of charge too. Unbelieveable!!Never need to go anywhere else other than King Kog for all my bike repairs now..cheers Dan

Had my bike serviced and inner tube replaced- after 1 month of testing it I can say brilliant job done, in the timeframe given with no hassel or fuss.I highly recommend!

Excellent service. Following a puncture on my little boy's bike only 2 days after we collected it, King Kogs fixed the puncture in around an hour AND fixed a couple of issues they identified with the bike stand and brakes. (The bike was originally purchased from a large national retailer; HAL.....). Definitely recommend King Kogs...

The owner and engineer, Dan, is friendly and enthusiastic. The service is good and the shop sells the reliable, UK made ebike Volt.

I had a used bicycle with a wheel jammed because of the alignment problem. He fixed it in under 10 minutes and asked me no service charge. Thank you. Cheers!

I turned up at the shop desperately looking for a rare brake mount part for an older bike that I'd scoured Amazon etc for, and had no joy with at Halfords who were generally unhelpful. Dan didn't have the part I needed but within minutes had freed it up from the caliper it had seized on (no charge), something I'd been trying to do for hours... and to cap it all when I skulked back in again later because I had the wrong brake cable to complete the repair he handed over the cable I was desperate for and because his card payment system wasn't working just said 'call in and pay me some other time'! This isn't the kind of service we've come to expect from the likes of Cooksons/Halfords etc.. who are only after selling you something. I would always recommend coming here FIRST in future if you want proper service.

Fantastic service this guy really knows his stuff, identified and fixed my bike within 5 mins , I went to a bigger bike shop 4 times with the same issue and they couldn’t fix it

Nipped in today and was really impressed. Got my bike looked at straight away. Great service and was very much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend
