Farmer Will Gardens

Spent a day planting our garden and did it well. But....he agreed to make follow up visits but never did which has been very frustrating as plants have since died. He agreed to replace dead plants but never did, and never spent time to talk through what he planted so I have had to guess what plants he put in. Felt he overcharged as I never received proper back up for costs. Nice guy but I think he's lost interest in gardening or just has other priorities. Very disappointed by the whole experience as from the outset I made it clear that I was looking for someone to do not just planting but also ongoing maintenance.

Will and his team have just spent the last two days transforming our garden into an oasis of calm and more excitingly - potential. After many years of DIY gardening and good intentions, nature had taken over in the shape of brambles, ivy and self -sown elder trees. Gardening had become an unfulfilling battle with these uninvited intruders.We now have a neat, tidy garden full of light and space which I can’t wait to plant up. Will is a delight to work with, he understood the brief better than I did, and cracked on with speed and skill. I’ve never seen two people work quite as hard while happily sharing their passionate knowledge about plants and gardens. I’ve already shared Will’s number with two of my neighbours and will ask Will back to help with planning and planting.Thank you, Will Snr and Will Jnr for such a fantastic job!

Will and his team literally transformed our garden and were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had used Will before for tree cutting, turf laying and general maintenance but decided to get a new deck, fence and artificial lawn this year due to a muddy new puppy! It has exceeded all our expectations. Looks like we had a designer in to plan it but Will just knew what he was doing and nailed it in less than 3 weeks. Looking out at our fairy lit tree this winter (thanks for going to extra mile Will!) instead of a muddy pit we are beyond happy with it. Would whole heartedly recommend him.

Thanks Will for saving our bonsai box tree, and being so meticulous and thorough about coming and fumigating our tree against Chinese caterpillar, coming not only once or twice but many times to give advice and see that the little pests did not come back again. You are always ready to help and suggest and it is much appreciated.

Will was recommended to me by a neighbour - word of mouth always best. Will and his small team replaced garden fences, carefully retaining existing planting built a new shed on a small awkward corner plot including all new foundations, redesigned our small garden and left us with a transformed and beautiful garden space including the relaying of tricky small cobble paving. Knowledgeable on what plants thrive where and support with ongoing maintenance. Prices competitive compared with other quotes.

Delighted with the work done by Will and his team on our garden. High quality new fencing and a shed. The team worked really hard on some very hot days, looking forward to getting them all back for some more work in the autumn.

Farmer Will did a terrific job on our urban garden. We had done some planting ourselves but after eight years living in our house the garden had never really come together. We knew we wanted to change it but didn’t know what to do. Will recommended a landscape and planting vision that was sympathetic to the space and to the period of our house, as well as being in budget. He and his team were hardworking and very friendly (he even showed our son around his Land Rover Defender), putting in several long shifts in order to ensure the garden was ready and in immaculate condition before overseas guests arrived. The garden is now fresh and vibrant and growing well, and is a pleasure to spend time in. We’ve had a greater number of avian and apian visitors as well, which is testament to the fact that the garden is not only decorative but in keeping with the larger environment. Will was recommended by a friend whose very large, gorgeous garden was landscaped by him. From the work Will did for us it’s clear he is just as good in a smaller space. Extremely happy with the work Will and his team did on our garden. They worked very hard and we feel were great value for money. Choosing and planting two lines of planters; very knowledgable on plants and choices for the area. Also provided good tips on maintenance and care. Would recommend to anyone.

Farmer Will did a fantastic job of putting up a new fence and cutting back/clearing a lot of our very overgrown garden. He and his colleague were reliable, polite and immaculately tidy. Our neighbour was so impressed with the job that he asked us to share Will’s details with him! We’ll definitely be asking him to come back!

Will transformed our garden in an hour and a half! Amazed at how quickly he and his team worked to completely morph the garden from an overgrown mess to a neat, beautiful space that I can’t wait to use again over summer.
