Mackies is first class for service and repair.I had a horrible knocking noise in all gears which another garage misdiagnosed as needing a clutch and dmf.After said repair from other garage it was still knocking so booked it in at mackies.They were great,they keep you up to date with phone calls to let you know their findings and what they will do to repair and cost.Mines was needing the gearbox rebuilt and the new clutch from other garage was faulty so that was renewed and also stub shaft.I was a bit apprehensive when picking up vehicle in case it was still knocking due to what happened with other garage but I needn’t have worried.Vehicle is now running smooth,no noise etc.I would recommend mackies 100% and their pricing was half of what I was expecting to pay.Volskswagen T5 transporter.Thank you mackies.

This company could not be more professional, polite, and informative.From the initial phone call to Laura who booked me in within the week.She took all my details gave me a price and asked if there was any issues that needed looked at.I dropped car off early and Derek took my keys and checked my information.Picked it up when agreed and another lovely lady gave me my reciepts and keys.I had auto transmisdion service and car is driving like a dream.This is how any business should work.I would highly recommend them and will definitely use again.

On dropping my car in for a gearbox service, the girls in reception were very friendly and went over what was to be done confirming the price etc, ensuring I wasn’t going get any surprises from my initial quote when booking in.Dropped off the night before and work was carried out quickly and car was ready to be picked up early on the day it was booked for.Can’t fault the service received.

Drove a 340 mile round journey to take my car to Mackie's for a gearbox transmission service. A far better service than I believe my dealership could offer me, and now my go to place for any transmission services or issues.
