It was a pleasant experience overall.The big washing machines are £6. Little ones are £5 and take on average 40 minutes to wash your clothes.You have the big dryers (£1 = 8 minutes)The lady that worked inside was very lovely as well as the owner who helped us out with the machines and how they work.Overall, get ready to spend £25+ if you have more than 2 bags of clothes.A very good launderette though!

I come here occasionally for the convenience of the dyers and occasionally the larger machines, however, it has really gone down hill in recent years. A large majority of the machines and dryers are frequently out of service" and most could do with a deep clean to be honest to remove the mold and dirt around the rubber. The entire place needs to be refurbished and the machines needs to be cleaned or replaced."

As laundrettes go this one isn’t too bad. The first machine stole my money but after that false start things improved!Small, medium and large load washing machines @ £5, £6 and I think £7 per load.Two sizes of tumble driers, large and X-Large where you buy your minutes. Work out at about a £1 for 10 mins and depending on how dry and much you fill the dryer with your probably looking at 20 to 30 mins to get everything dry.Stock up on your £2 and £1 coins in advance as there is no change machine here and at the weekends there is no staff on site to assist either.

Welwyn Garden Launderette
After discovering this place last year, I returned this week to wash the winter duvet, only to be told there was only one large machine working and it was busy. I asked politely when was a good time to come ie day and or time, to be given a shrug in reply. Tried again later in the week at a different time....one chap said one machine was working but a second chap immediately said he'd turned them off as work was being done. No ideas or suggestions when normal service might resume - more shrugs. Frustrating!

Had to use this laundrette for the first time today because my washing machine broke. The very kind Giuseppe showed me how to use the washing machine and dryer. I went here early in the morning to tumble-dry my towels and the end result was fantastic - no more hard towels. There were only a few people in the launderette so no queuing and it's very reasonably priced. The lady in charge was really friendly and helpful. I'll certainly be back.

I've been coming here for years, more often in the wintertime for drying. Friendly, Italian run launderette, not staffed all the time. Machines are clean and easy to operate. It's got more expensive over the years but that's down to cost of electricity. It's located in a small parade of shops, with a bakery, co-op, take aways, cafe and a couple of charity shops. So you can easily waste some time while you clothes wash and dry.
