Great place for a day out. Went out on the lake on the paddleboard. Burger bar there and you can hire out paddleboards and kayaks if you don't own one.

Lovely place for a walk---BUT ...., what bright spark decided to close the car park toilets permanently.There are now just four unisex toilets for public use situated at the cafe.One of which was closed for maintenance.Be prepared for men urinating in the bushes during the busy summer period!!!

A brilliant place to learn open water swimming with regular inductions, loops of various lengths and very clear water. If you’re training for a triathlon, you’ll be spoilt here compared to almost anywhere you compete.
