Called here to eat on a holiday to Cornwall and had to go back a second time as it was so good. You can take your dog her but only into the conservatory for meals. The staff were very nice and pleasant and they served the food quite promptly. There were seven of us, and everyone really enjoyed the food and desserts, especially the sticky toffee pudding, the apple crumble was the best we have ever tasted

Very welcoming pub, with kitchens open all day. Very pleased to find 'non alcohol ' Guinness available as we were driving. We enjoyed the fish and chips and the Staff were really helpful. Good position, just off the A30.

We ate here as a family of 6 and we had an enjoyable meal. The staff were very welcoming, chatty and helpful throughout. I had the pork dijonaisse which was delicious. All meals were good sized potions including the children’s meal. Would recommend.

Lunch as part of training meeting. Pub was quiet so couldn't rate atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and attentive...helped with a dietary issue without problem. Food was excellent value.

Spur of the moment place for an evening meal. Staff and service was amazing. Ended up just having the “sausages and mash” for a nice simple, homely and filling meal and it delivered in every way. Delicious starters and mains all round just a shame was too full to try any desserts!

Called here on Sunday afternoon and very busy into the evening. Food looked great and plates were coming back empty hence 5* but had already eaten before arriving there. Selection of Real Ales which were kept wellWill be calling in next time I'm in the area

Simple pub food. Plenty of it. Not bad prices. Good service. I really enjoyed the food. The whole venue was nice, quiet and friendly.

Excellent. I used to come here before the new A30 was built. It’s still a good as it ever was! Has a pint of draft proper job. Excellently kept. Food was home prepared and satisfying. If anything it’s quieter than it should be because of the bypass

Whilst staying near Bodmin we visited the Victoria Inn in Roche for dinner.We had our dog with us and we’re welcomed to eat in the bar area.Staff were very friendly. Even kept coming over to say hi to our dog.The food was very nice - came quickly and piping hot. We managed main and pudding. Really good choices on the menu too.If we are back in the area we will try to visit again.

Very nice pub, with friendly staff and good food.Several dining area from historic building to modern conservatory.Also has periodic events, like a murder mystery dinner.
