Assessor & Electoral Registration Officer

I am still awaiting my POSTAL VOTE PAPERS FOR THE REFERENDUM despite my efforts to obtain them in good time. I voted last time by post and have had the postal vote for 2 years. It is now the 10th September and seemingly some person is to contact us and we have to show our identity and they will hand over replacement papers. THIS IS A SHAMBLES AND VERY WORRYING FOR MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF ESPECIALLY AS HE WILL BE AWAY NEXT WEEK. I was even told it might be MONDAY BEFORE SOMEONE GETS IN TOUCH ! This will be TOO LATE FOR HIM.I did receive the purple voting card telling me we were registered for a posal vote SO WHERE ARE MY BALLOT PAPERS ?? SEEMINGLY WE ARE NOT ALONE. Does the press know ?????
