Elaine altered my wedding dress for my wedding in June 2023. But when i say altered i mean she completely overhauled it. My dress was too long, didnt fit around the shoulders and arms, didnt fit right around the bust and lower waist, with the bust being especially baggy and gaping, and i also wanted arms added (to a bardot dress), which im sure is not an easy feat. Elaine completely took the dress apart and put together again where it fitted every inch of me perfectly and then added the sleeves and they looked as though they always should have been there, with every detail perfect, right down to the diamond cuffs. I am a plus size girl and never ever feel pretty or special but Elaine helped me achieve that on my wedding day, and honestly i will forever be greatful for it, and i have beautiful photos now that i can look back on and be proud of. She was kind and ameniable and makes you feel so comfortable from day 1, also straight as an arrow when talking through design plans and kept me grounded which is definately needed, i will recommend her forever in time to anyone who is looking for a bridal seamstress. I would say if your looking for Elaine, as Derrys finest seamstress you should aim to book early as she fills up fast. She was the 2nd booking i made after the hotel, a good bridal seamstress is hard to find!
