Fantastic climbing area. Lead and boulder. Hard sandstone so not too hard on the hands. Beautiful scenery!

If you want to get away from the crowd then Scugdale is worth a visit. Wide open big skies and fairly decent for those with disabilities.

Good base to start for some great walking in the #NorthYorkMoors. Theres a little parking area that will hold about 5 or 6 cars. There's also a private parking area further up the lane that looks the same so don't get them mixed up.

Boggy in places on way up to Scotland crags. Rock was dry and then the rain came so we didn't climb

Love this place!! Feels like a hidden valley and often overlooked by the masses. Also has Barker's Crag, a great location for bouldering.
