I was a bit disappointed after hearing so many amazing things about Franco Manca. The service was terrible. Asked the server for more water but never got it. Waited over 30 mins for the bill after our plates had been cleared. My pizza was not that nice but my friends’ ones were amazing. I was very jealous. I probably won’t be going again.

The original, and the best! The closest anyone has come to the best Neapolitan pizza outside of Naples. This is where Franco Manca started, and it is always amazing! Top tip: instead of ordering a starter, just have two pizzas! Vegans like me are well catered for (and the simplest Pizza here is MEGA CHEAP!)

I've been served by Monica the waitress in charge. I have several allergies and she helped me going through the menu and choose the right pizza for me given that I have some dietary requirements, I had such a fantastic experience, also Claudio the other waiter in charge made sure everything was perfect with us. All great! Vibe! Food! People!

Ordered their Number 4, Ham, mozzarella & mushroom pizza.The pizza is great not much to complain about. Although they could be more generous with the toppings.

Our favourite host, Claudio, was off yesterday, however lovely friendly Monica was on shift and made our experience great. She has been adorable with the children (5 of them!!) they are surely looking forward to our next visit. Pizza and homemade drinks were really nice.Thank you Monica for your great service!!

Franco Manca in Brixton was always our ‘go to’ local pizza spot. In the recent years, the quality of food and service has worsen and we find ourselves always leaving with disappointment after each visit.Last night, we were having drinks next door at Friendship Adventure and decided to get a takeaway pizza for our 3 year old son. After placing the order with the server, it took them 15 minutes to tell us we can’t do takeaway with the kids menu. We then had to order a regular pizza which then took another 27 minutes to be ready…! When we finally received the order and opened the box, the ‘normal sized’ pizza was smaller than the kids pizza. On top of this, the staff was rude and dismissive. We won’t be coming back in the forceable future and I’m disappointed that we’ve lost our local pizza spot.

Amazing birthday dinner with friends. Luca was outstandingly welcoming and waited us during the night. We'll surely be back, for the amazing pizza, and surely even for Luca's amazing service. A+++

One of my favourite places to eat locally and my no. 1 sourdough pizza of choice. The staff is awesomely friendly with an attention to detail even when around closing time. I feel looked after when I visit. Fully recommend it!

This is the original Franco Manca. Did come here 12 years ago when it wasn't a chain, and Franco himself was coming the pizzas and talking to the clients. As any place that grows bigger, the quality gets lost in..translation!! Some places are decent some, quite below par... and it's all dep on the pizza guy. Have to be Italian, possibly from naples, and with experience... the rest is up to your luck. I suggest this original one or, surprisingly, the one near Victoria Station.
