Delivered a faulty new dryer (leaking) when asked to replace or refund, I was not able to speak to a human being , instead left to leave msgs on their online system with no one responding. Eventually, I had to use the manufacturer warranty callout engineer, who was less than complimentary about this company. This company sold me a not-fit-for-purpose product and then left me to use my time, energy and stress to resolve the matter with the manufacturer. This company will not get any business from me or my extended family in the future. You been warned.

American fridge freezer that been delivered last September 5 was full of dents and scratches. I rang them to remove it the following day and they did and was told to wait for 3-5 working days fir the refund. BUT UNTIL NOW THEY HAVEN'T RETURN MY FULL PAYMENT MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT! Please kindly investigate this company to see what is going on... Thank you so much for giving us your attention regarding this matter.

Mixing it up with a 4 start among the one stars...Delivery guys were friendly. Helped me remove the packaging and then took it away with them. They were apologetic as they turned up later than expected, hence the 4 stars.

Unfortunately, I had an extremely unpleasant encounter with Appliances Direct. They charge a hefty £109 for the oven installation, by so-called experts. However, what I received in return was an incompetent driver masquerading as an installer, with absolutely no electrical experience. Not only did he break the oven door and the shelf while pulling it out, but he also fled the scene, claiming that the electricals were incorrect. It turns out that his claims were false, as confirmed by a real electrician who later installed the appliance without any issue and within 20 minutes.To make matters worse, my attempts to reach out to their customer service team (be aware of high phone charges ) were met with disappointment. Despite sending multiple emails, I never received a meaningful response. It felt as though they were deliberately passing me from one person to another, simply hoping that I would eventually give up. This kind of customer service is a complete joke.Even after providing images and proof of the damage on two separate occasions, I was met with repeated requests for the same evidence. It's incredibly frustrating to have to go through the same process over and over again, especially when it should be obvious that the damage was caused by their installer.The lack of decency and accountability from the installer is utterly disappointing. It seems that their word carries more weight than mine, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. It's disheartening to deal with such an incompetent company.I urge anyone considering utilizing Applinces Direct's services to think twice. The damage, lack of proper response, and overall incompetence displayed throughout this experience are simply not worth the hassle. I sincerely hope that the company can rectify these issues and improve their services for the sake of future customers.

This company deserves a zero. They delivered wrong items and when I asked for refund they said they will have to collect it first. I waited for them them collect air con. No one came and this is the 5th time I stayed at home waiting for them to collect and I still can't get my 400 pounds refund. Will definitely take this to court and get a full refund. I am speaking to my lawyer. This is illegal how can they refuse to collect and waste my time.. and delivery is also a nightmare. I had to wait 6 time since drivers don't bring to first floor stairs. I recommend no one uses this company unless they want to be scammed. Worse customer service. Jo one answers phone. The have premium number. Its like they don't want anyone to call them . Will never ever use this company again

I would like to highlight the following issues:1. Bait-and-Switch Scheme: Upon placing an order for an Air Conditioner, I received a completely different make and model. The product I received was not only cheaper and faulty, but it did not match the specifications I had initially chosen. This indicates a deliberate attempt to deceive customers and provide them with inferior products.2. Refund Hassles: When I attempted to initiate a refund for the incorrect and faulty item, I encountered significant difficulties. Uk Appliance Direct made the refund process unnecessarily complicated, with multiple requests for documentation, prolonged delays, and unresponsive customer support. It appeared that they were intentionally trying to avoid issuing a refund.3. Lack of Communication: Throughout this ordeal, the communication from Uk Appliance Direct was exceedingly poor. Ordered American fridge freezer, had delivery date, they changed it at last minute, then changed it again 24 hours before delivery, after 3 weeks without freezer, cancelled, ordered same appliance from competitor, they delivered next day at 9.15am, dont use this company, they make false promises, and hold on to your money

I would definitely not be recommending this company to anyone. The engineer who came to fit the fridge freezer was rude and had a poor attitude towards finding a solution to overcame the Challenges of taking out my old fridge freezer. He advised he couldn't take it out because it was too big and the only way he could take it out was if he took of the doors. He said he was unable to do that due to company policy and health and safety regulations. No where on the companies website did it state that the fridge freezer had to be completey disassembled. He just wanted to take the easy way out. Also left my old fridge freezer in the middle of the kitchen so it is a health and safety hazard now. Overall poor company that misleads about its services, incompetent engineers and a really poor and lazy work ethic. Please refrain from using this company. I called and complained. I got a full refund back. Really bad experience with this company.

They hire the worst of the worst to deliver appliances. We paid an additional fee for the special delivery of the item into our flat. When the drive turned up he was alone and said it was not his responsibility to bring the item in. Second time two guys arrived and denied we had booked special delivery - they were extremely rude and when they reluctantly brought the appliance inside they were very heavy handed. When they called AD, the woman on the other end of the phone was laughing.. extremely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.
