Love the fact I could choose from the regular menu on a Sunday lunch time . Best gammon I've had in a pub ! Husband had the roast beef and agreed by far the best pub grub we've had . Been a few times now and never been disappointed. Very friendly bar staff .

The pub was busy but not packed. However, they were clearly understaffed as the drinks took quite a time to arrive. The food was good, but it did seems overdone.

Great friendly pub nothing is to much trouble. Staff were great with the grandchildren absolutely love the Sunday roast best gravey.

Had a lovely meal at the Cockett Inn last weekend, nothing was too much trouble, they were happy to change recipe to meet my fussy dietary requirements. Great pub food at very reasonable prices. Lovely people and great atmosphere

Chips were hard. Fries were still frozen. Chicken was hard. Burger was red raw. Bar tender was grumpy and unfriendly. Lovely smell from people smoking in the ‘non smoking area’ outside.An hour after myself and my mother were both violently vomiting.
