All of our food was super tasty. Best Katsu don I have ever had. Ramen was super as well. Sushi was delicious and everything is freshly made and very worth the wait. Prices are good for portion sizes. Staff is lovely and atmosphere is very cosy.

This place is slightly hidden away from all the other attractions in Windsor. One would need to make a point to go here otherwise it might be missed.Great choice for japanese food, by British standards, its great! The prices are also really reasonable, the food fills you up and doesn't pretend to be something it's not. They really try to make you a well presented and fulfilling meal here. It's also worth noting that they throw in a soup with your meal. This isn't stated on the menu, but it pairs great with whatever food you're eating. The only negative I noticed was that the salmon was slightly warm, room temperature at most. Absolutely wrong with it. Just slightly surprising. Otherwise as fresh as you can get here.

Came here for a visit to Windsor from London. Booked a table for lunch on our way and it was hassle free.It was quiet when we arrived but more and more people arrived during lunch hour and it got busy. Seems popular with the locals.Food was good. The one lady who was serving everyone was friendly and even recommended the area to us.Food was fresh. Tempura was freshly fried and sushi was freshly made (but the seaweed was a bit soft). It has a homely atmosphere.

Everytime I’ve been here it’s never disappointed. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is always very tasty, drinks are well priced for the restaurants area and quality. Would recommend you get a big dish of udon noodles and then lots of wonderfully made sashimi to ensure even the biggest appetites are met. A quality restaurant and is essential visiting for the Windsor area.

Lovely staff, good quick service and lovely food. Udon noodles were better than wagamamas and the salmon teriyaki was delicious.

We had a sakana ramen soup and sushi there. Wasn’t the best Chinese food, but was delicious. We haven’t had an eggs in our soup and it wasn’t filly as I expected. But sushi was good enough. The restaurant is not far from Windsor city centre location (5-7 minutes walk). Clean and not smelly. Wasn’t busy at Sunday night.

Food was bland, there was constant laughter in kitchen and bar area (about who was my constant query?) Which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. No consideration for general service (had to request basic items that even an English restaurant would do). Funnily enough, miso soup came out burning to tongue.Altogether, if you have been to Japan even once... don't go. If you have lived longer in Japan... don't go!

I love this place. The food is always brilliant. We went at lunchtime and were the only people. Still wonderful though.

Popped in for lunch and had a reasonable meal. First I tried some salmon sashimi and it was surprisingly good with a nice texture and a fresh taste. I then tried a main of prawn tempura ramen. The ramen was not quite what I was expecting as I’m used to ramen’s being quite tasty with a miso or soy broth, but this ramen had a milky flavour which made it more of a Chinese style vegetable soup ramen than a Japanese style ramen. The noodle texture and quality wasn’t that bad, but the noodles were also a little big and not as think as I usually prefer. The tempura prawns were nice however with a crispy batter and a fresh prawn within. Overall the service was friendly and the price not too bad at just under twenty pounds. I’d come back but will probably go for more sashimi.
