Lovely camp site. Well equipped. Clean and well maintained. Great location for cycling to Maidenhead or Windsor. Beautiful stretch of the River Thames. Road noise is only negative, however we had been informed of this before visiting and owners have dine everything possible to reduce impact.

Very clean facilities, including fridges/freezers and a microwave oven. Showers are nice and big, pitches are level. Security seems good. There is a fair bit of noise from the M4 and planes going overhead but it didn't keep us awake. The Thames is a couple of minutes walk, Bray lock another minute. Very close to LEGOLAND and to Dorney rowing lake. Tescos is a few minutes away by car.

Just had a night's stay here, really lovely little site, ignore the M4 it doesn't really intrude. If you are a plane and Flight radar fan you will like it here! Thanks to Bev and hubby for letting me stay.

Just arrived home after 4 very happy nights at Amerden Caravan Park.. Owner Bev was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome indeed. The location is pretty perfect, nice flat ground for the caravan. It has easy pretty nature trail walks to Bray and Maidenhead. (Please visit Heston Blumenthal's 'The Hinds Head' at Bray..delicious food). A walk along the River Thames here is pretty special as there are gorgeous homes with pretty gardens to dream over and hope a lotto win is round the corner..hee hee!London by train from Taplow Station is a smooth easy ride on the new Elizabeth Line straight into Paddington. We shall definitely be returning and was dubious in writing this review because we'd like to keep it our secret!!

Our second trip here and once again a wonderful experience.Lovely family run site that is absolutely spotless. Great facilities - toilets and showers, washing up and laundry, microwave and fridges and a good play ground.Well sited for Windsor, lego land and the Thames. Will definitely be coming back for a third time

Great site, nice friendly owners, very relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to Thames and Bray lock where it is nice to watch the boats go through and chat to the friendly lock keepers or boat owners. The walk to Bray is just over a mile, with a short section beside the M4 where it crosses the Thames, but is perfectly safe as you are behind barriers. Short flat bike ride to Windsor and Eton approx 5mile depending upon route taken as have a choice of routes. We thought best one was beside the Olympic rowing lakes which are less than 2 mile away and we'll worth a visit. Loved the site will definitely return.

Nothing to fault, so go there!Plusses all round: friendly and helpful owners, easy to access from the M4 and close to supermarkets & train station, fair price, spacious pitches, very good facilities, close to the Thames and its picturesque pathway. You can hear the motorway and it's good for plane spotting but the owners mention the former on their website and if you don't Googlemap it before then you're a silly sausage! Will certainly return and recommend it highly :)

Open again after M4 work. Super warm welcome on a lovely small site. Yes M4 is close but noise is more a background drone. We'll located - just over a mile to Elizabeth line with trains direct to centre of London. Recommended.

Recently stayed here with my partner, dog and 2 children and can not fault it at all. The toilets and showers were spotless. The owners are lovely, really easy to chat to and very helpful with information on events happening nearby. The kitchen area is a lovely touch, having 4 fridges and a microwave available for all to use was very handy.Although the site sits next to the M4, the sound did not bother us at all and can easily be forgotten about. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anybody looking at staying here.
