Received an email informing the surfing sessions pre- booked not available due to technical problem. I am due to stay at the Hilton in 3 weeks with my teenage grandchildren which left me concerned. I sent an email and followed up with a telephone call later in the day. Kay answered and dealt with all my concerns in a professional manner, booking a day of alternative activities and refunding the balance. Things happen out of a Company's control which can be frustrating but having it handled in such a positive and personal way was impressive. I am looking forward to my holiday again all thanks to the excellent customer service.

Lovely area. The pods are awful for the price. The shared bathrooms are a disgrace. Really needed a good scrubbing. Been to similar pods for £20 more and they had a small kitchen and own shower toilet and bedding.Really is a lazy job done here. Would never come again would never recommend

Long story as short as possible. Purchased a Virgin experience voucher, booked for August 2022. Night before the surfing lesson, was told surf machine broken and I could come back when it was fixed in 2023 for the original surf lesson, plus X amount on a gift card to experience other things as compensation for the inconvenience as I had travelled a 6 hour round trip and booked accommodation for two nights.Confirmed in writing, over the phone, and then in person when we dropped by to see the facility.Come June 2023 when I try to book what was given to me to be told 'No offer like this would have been made'. I even sent them the email they had sent me as proof that this was the offer I was given. They told me the only thing I could use was the gift voucher and I couldn't have my original lesson as planned unless I used the gift card on it. Customer service is absolutely appalling, it has taken almost two months to resolve the issue as they refused to give original offer and just gave a small amount extra on the gift card to try to get me to stop emailing them.Tried to get a refund for my Virgin experience voucher from Virgin, to be told that Surf Snowdonia had semi-claimed it so it's stuck in limbo. All Surf Snowdonia had to do was fully claim it and I could have had my surfing lesson, then I could have used the gift card for the extra experiences. AS ORGINALLY PROMISED.They have been a nightmare to deal with, and I refuse to visit their facility and will never recommend them. It would seem from reviews on here that their customer service is going downhill fast.

Recently had a Stag do here - staying in the pods for the weekend. The facilities are absolutely incredible and activities great fun.Unfortunately, the centre is let down by the staff.Communication prior to the event was poor, and on arrival there was no one around and no clear instruction. 1 poorly trained and completely overwhelmed teenager left to run the bar (drinks and food) on his own (not his fault!).The wave machine was broken, which looking at other reviews, seems to happen a lot, and this time it seems to have been broken for a while - there's no signs of work being carried out either.Ninja Challenge was a good laugh, but the hosted BBQ at £22.50 a head wasn't great (left out for ages, so dry and cold).

I visited here for a birthday trip with my wife. The whole place is super impressive. Great staff, good food, great atmosphere and brilliant waves. We stayed over in a lodge and used the hot tubs. Having friendly waves and good food on your doorstep coupled with the brilliant location and stunning scenery was next levelI took a lesson while i was here, the instructors were pleasant and personable. They took a real interest in my surf level and were not only on hand for the dry lessons part, but came in the water and offered advice and guidance while i was surfing, even shouting encouragement from the water edge.Between this and other wave pools in the country, i would come back here every time. No competition, even if its not the current wave pool tec, the wave options are good, and it's everything you need

I had such a good couple of hours here doing the free falls and zipline. Very well organised and ran well. The group size was not too big and we had plenty of time to do the activity.Staff were friendly and helpful and supportive when I was initially nervous. Equipment was all in good condition.Family and friends are able to be near to take photos etc., and there is free WiFi, and a nice indoor cafe that dogs can go into as well.I think there are some issues with the wave pool at the moment but this was not on the website.

+1: Good location.-1: Most activities were not available - wave generator machines broken for months.-1: Poor communication. Website should have been updated with a note of unavailable activities.-1: Restaurant/cafe were unavailable. No food, short of drinks at the bar. Short staffed.-1: Expected to bring duvets, linen, pillows, etc (fills up the car) and no BBQs allowed. Not a relaxing experience overall as expected/planned, as a result.

I paid for an hour's climbing for my 2 children. It wasn't cheap at £50 for the 2, especially as even though I arrived 40 mins before the session. The website says to arrive 30 mins before your booked time for the mentioned safety briefing and to get harnessed up ready for the booked time. However after checking in we waited for 45 minutes for the staff to appear and begin the safety briefing and getting harnesses on. That took 15/20 minutes so we actually only got 40 minutes of climbing and 2 upset children. The climbing staff were great at what they do but paying for an hour's climbing and only actually getting 40 mins is false advertising so I would recommend people avoid this place as I've been to other clip and climb facilities and you get the full hour after the briefing. The help desk staff were not interested after we pointed out that we weren't happy with our experience and offered no apology or any sort of refund. Avoid.

Superb location for a wild stag weekend.Didn't stay but did the activities which were amazing. Great banter and help from all staff.Bar staff were especially amazing as they didn't stop trying to put on the rugby prem final for the stag. These guys were heroes.Slides and play park makes any adult feel 10 again and I would highly recommend. You do have to be somewhat fit and bring long trousers and close toes shoes. (This should be expressed in bold as you book)Surf coaches were great, friendly and super helpful.Intermediate life guard come hype man in the blue glasses was a legend. Throwing shakkas at my best waves and making me feel special. Thank youI will endeavour to come back here.Great fun.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn next door with beautiful views over the lagoon. We'd originally booked a surfing day course, but we're given the option to choose other activities when they gave us a heads up about the mechanical fault with the wave machine. As it was our honeymoon, we decided to make the most of it and booked in SUP boarding with the water obstacle course as well as the ninja assault course. The staff were very quick to book this in for us and arranged a refund for the outstanding amount - no hassle at all. Had a great time at both activities and the staff were brilliant. Plenty of staff members at both activities to oversee and keep us safe and they were incredibly ruthless when it came to passing the lower jump test in the ninja course to ensure that no-one could injure themselves by jumping incorrectly at a greater height. (I failed, but was just proud I'd managed the first one!). I would especially like to mention one member of staff who had to deal with some incredibly rude and aggressive behaviour from another customer. We thought she and her fellow staff members dealt with the issue extremely professionally and sensibly.Overall it was a great experience in a beautiful place. Thank you!
