Delightful Doggy Training

I cannot believe how quickly our dog has responded to the advice Deb gave us. No longer pulling on the lead, much calmer in the house, better with the hoover etc. Going for walks is improving too with her not straining to run after noisy vehicles. Life has really improved.

Deb came round and met our new rescue dog who was suffering with some anxiety and reactivity issues. She spent lots of time with us and explained everything really well. We've had some quick results too. Still a way to go but we now feel we have the tools and Deb's around should we need her again! Would definitely recommend.

Deb helped us with our 1 year old cockapoo with recall, jumping on visitors when they arrived at the door and stealing their shoes as a game and pulling on the lead whilst walking. These are just a few of the things she helped us with! There are many more! She was professional and responded as and when I contacted her. Deb provided us with advice and tips we had not even thought about especially with a new baby on the way. Her training really helped our cockapoo in a matter of a few days of training and saw a huge difference in our dog. Would definitely recommend Deb! I was so impressed with Deb who came to our house to help train me with the training of my 8 year old Golden Retriever - walkies has taken on a new meaning. No barking when the leash and harness is ready to put onto my dog, it is such a pleasure to manage to walk out of the back door and get through the gate without the dog barking and bouncing up and down. Consistently using the same routine Deb has taught me has made my dog walking a pleasure and not a chore. I would recommend this dog trainer to anyone whose dog is a challenge.

We spoke to Deb about our dog Rupert, he's a cocker spaniel who had a hard start to life with cancer at 5 months old. Since then he has had no end of fuss and pampering but has gotten used to having everything HIS way. Then along came our baby Florence and Ruperts attention was effectively halved if not more, this led to attention seeking, jealousy and destructive behaviour. Deb came and clearly explained the way Rupert will be viewing things and manipulating us to his advantage. The Rules that we were taught had an instant impact, consistency since then has meant we now have a manageable dog who is responding very well to individual commands that we are now teaching him. Anybody who is struggling with their Dog should 100% get in touch with Deb, you will not regret it.

So pleased to have discovered Deb and her invaluable knowledge about our four legged friends. We are first time puppy parents and we needed help with training and general pointers and her home visits were so helpful with putting us on the right track. Deb is a friendly and enthusiastic dog trainer. She has shared her expertise by suggesting various tips and techniques (some of which we had used with our dog as a puppy but hadn’t continued with) to encourage the desired response from our reactive and stubborn Border Terrier. The training has been a good reminder for us that continuous teaching through games and play is essential to build a good rapport with your dog. Over the past few weeks, since we met with Deb, we have adopted the reinforcement training on daily walks and we are now seeing a great improvement. Thank you, Deb!

We spoke to Deb after having some issues with our dogs behaviour. He had become agressive towards other dogs whilst on his lead. He was also becoming very distressed whilst in the car.We had an initial call to outline what had been happening and Deb gave us some practical tools to work on to help our dog become more confident.We then had a face to face session a few weeks later where we built on the tools that Deb had told us about.Since then, our dog has become more much confident around the house and in the car. He still has some way to go with his behaviour but we are still very early days in the training. We are having more better days than bad and my husband and I are much more confident in handling difficult situations whilst we are out walking.The tools that Deb has taught us have certainly helped and we will continue to use these daily to help our dog to feel happier when he sees other dogs whilst out on walks.Thank you Deb.

It was such a relief to have Debbie diagnose one of the issues affecting my dog, she was so calm and we have learnt a great deal on how to help him. He now walks on the Balance Harness without any problems and we are gradually addressing his other issues with Debbie's help. I would happily recommend her to help others.
