Third time camping, first time wild. As a lifelong city boy who learned to embrace nature, Patryk was absolutely the right choice as a guide around Dartmoor National Park for wild camping. Please gauge your own level of fitness though, especially if you're a newbie like me, as I didn't think well enough about what it meant to carry your entire accommodation and supplies on your back, so something to bear in mind and take ownership of!Under Patryk's guidance and instruction, we were able to make good use of OS maps, navigate ourselves with an old school compass, observe and deduce the terrain and learn about the environmental implications of where we were in every situation we were shown. Moreover, I learned some very practical skills around hiking, camping, sourcing water, cooking food and other bare necessities when it comes to being in the wilderness.As a two day one night programme, this is the most suitable and best way for an urban guy like me to slowly acclimatise to more expeditions of my own in the future. What's more, Patryk is a really nice, chill and down-to-earth dude to hang out with and keep it real, he has some real interesting life experiences to share. You are guaranteed to have a good time and some good laughs too!

As a young man living in the city (London center), I have suffered from the distance i felt from Nature. I joined a wild camping night, Pat was supportive above and beyond what you would expect. The guide is important. Pat is a passionate and knowledgeable explorer, friendly and professional. The whole experience was fantastic and i felt supported throughout. Besides having a great time, I also feel ready to go and do it again, with friends or just on my own. The rift between Nature and me is not a rift anymore

I am more bike packer than hiker, but recently desired to hike in places that I cannot reach with my adventure bike Trek 1120. Patryk knows how to hike and what gear to choose. If you afraid to go for a hike or you want to visit places and need a guide, this is the guy to go with. He might play sometimes on his tiny ukulele, but bare in mind he is still a musician beginner. Patryk is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in the art of adventure and is very skilled at passing that knowledge on. I had a fab weekend learning from him. Very professional and super chilled and friendly which makes the process more enjoyable. If you're looking for a way to build your skills and confidence to have your own adventures then I'd highly recommend.

I had a brilliant weekend wild camping on Dartmoor with Pat. He is very friendly and helpful and looked after everyone providing advice at the level of each person experience. The walk was excellent and the campsite idillic.I would definitely recommend the experience

My experience with adventure clinic was superb, Patryk my instructor was very informative and supportive, Dartmoor is an excellent area to hike , we did 8.5km, and pitched our tent near the top of a tor, views were magnificent and I would thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone

We took the Wild Camping Course on 25th November 2023 - it was a very fun weekend and we learned so much. Pat and Ross are lovely and very knowledgeableDartmoor is absolutely stunning and I got to see amazing spots I would’ve never been able to discover myself.If you like being out in nature and enjoy learning new skills, I can definitely recommend this course.Thank you again Pat and Ross, we had such a great time.

A friend and I recently spent the weekend on our first wild camping trip with Pat as our guide. He was super friendly and easy to get on with whilst being very helpful with teaching us the ways of wild camping. We learnt to map read and use a compass as well as crucial do’s and dont’s of wild camping which I would never of known if I hadn’t had this experience. Pat was very adaptable by giving us the choice of different routes to suit the capability of the group as well as allowing us to have fun on the way, climbing and even swimming. I would definitely recommend if your interested in getting a better understanding of wild camping or even just for a weekend away with a good hike, amazing views and great company.

We had a fantastic weekend in Dartmoor!
