Courtney's Cakes

Really disappointing. Ordered a cake from Courtney’s cakes and I went into collect and got told that there weren’t any records of it, once I showed my £50 deposit and the messages she proceeded to tell me it hadn’t been finished and thought it was the next day, slightly giggling (within our messages I gave the date/day i.e Friday 03rd March and it was for a surprise party) I was in a panic! No cake! The lady went home and finished it and got it to me just in time however… it was really poor quality, un-professional and didn’t look at all like what I asked, the image I sent was a round base cake and the one I ended up with was square, not happy at all. I do hope time is taken into other peoples orders in the future and much more time and care is taken into making peoples idea’s come to life. A small fee of £15 was taken off but, did not justify it at all, when paying over £100 for a cake you expect it to be spot on. Very sad to be leaving this review but, people must be aware and I do hope the lady looks into what she can and cannot do. You have to start from somewhere but, some friendly advice would be to not take an order on if you don’t think you can do it instead of having a poor outcome.
