Great cakes and coffee. No queues. Sadly, there are many buses pulling up across the road and their cooling fans are exceptionally noisy. So most of the time we were having to contend with unpleasantly loud buses. It'll be better when all buses are electric!

I stopped walking in the middle of the street to stare at the cakes in the window. The sandwiches could be used to keep a door helped open they're that big.Bought 3 cakes between us and they were all amazing, make sure you stop here if you're visiting York.

Absolutely loved our time there! The atmosphere is so calm and soulful. The food was delicious and the variety of choices was a pleasant surprise. The passion fruit doughnut and savoury rolls were unusual and well made. Can't wait to be back ❤️
