Great pub and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and make us feel very welcome. They even have their own brewery. These little gems need and deserve your support so when they reopen please go in and give them your support. You will have a good night.

Good atmosphere. Friendly no heirs or graces who you meet are who they are.yorkshire folk to the heart.with it's own brewery.but...don't drink and drive.and talk to locals about the overall area late at night.that applies to any city.good for karaoke and live bands.

Called in after visiting the axe throwing as the forest serves beer they brew in their own micro brewery. Proper traditional old fashioned locals pub with a range of their own beers. Friendly land lord and land lady. But the beer wasn't to my taste. You may enjoy the beer better. But was a good first stop on our way back into Sheffield.

Visited this place based on the reviews and unfortunately all three cask beers we tried tasted like they had gone off. Waitress was very friendly but admitted she was lacking knowledge while returning my beer. Maybe an unfortunate event!
