The gentleman who helped us select our new mattresses was very well informed and gave us advice which helped us choose the ones which best met our needs. Friendly staff delivery - happy to see them removing our rather old,tired one too. We try to shop locally and Barretts are a definite “Go to” store.

My new snuggle is great. It was delivered with care and my old sofa taken away. The chap's were very careful of the walls having to come upstairs. Very happy bunny.

I wasn't sure what I wanted because there was a huge choice of equally nice options for flooring and carpeting my two reception rooms, the hallway, stairs, landing, breakfast room and kitchen of my Air BnB house in The Thoroughfare in Woodbridge.My first idea was one colour of carpeting all the way through. Debbie from Barratt's flooring team came and measured and gave me a quote. I am always in and out of Barratt's and I looked at some other flooring options. I didn't really want people stepping straight off the street onto carpet so Debbie suggested LVT for downstairs because it's hardwearing, easy to clean and will last for years before I need to replace it. I chose a really nice wool carpeting for the stairs and landing.When it came to fitting, one chap from Barratt's came to do the carpeting and another came to do the LVT flooring a few days later. Both were clean, efficient, tidy and got there on time, when they said they would, which is really important. Both of them tidied up after themselves and dealt with all the leftovers from the job.I'm really pleased, not just with the quality of the carpet and LVT, not just with the price, but with how smooth and painless the whole experience was. They even did a good job fitting the flooring around the cellar hatch, which I thought was going to be really hard to make look tidy.I'd recommend Barratt's to anyone and not just for flooring - they also do really good curtains made bespoke by hand in a range of fabrics including my favourite William Morris prints.
