We had a specially arranged visit for our Twinning group. The display was extremely interesting, and the staff very knowledgeable. We also enjoyed a very pleasant cup of tea and a biscuit! We visited by arrangement, as a group, on a Monday, and were very well looked after.

This is a spectacular museum. Newly built and crammed with the most spectacular collection of old technology, beautifully curated, and many of them can be demonstrated.

Wonderfully friendly owners. Was given demonstrations of exhibits with enthusiasm, and given explanations and background to a number of artefacts. Very neatly set out, well lit. As an electronics enthusiast I found it fascinating. Recommended.

This is an amazing place absolutely packed with the items - some may have grown up with!We visited as a group of nine “mature” Motorcyclist from the East Midlands. We were made so welcome to the site. The staff were fabulous - knowledge of exhibits etc. This museum is somewhat tucked away but it is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. Check opening times.

Small, in the middle of nowhere but we'll sort a visit. it is technology based but at my age seeing the things we had in the 50s now museum pieces. From my first camera to the family phone, memories. You are so close to the exhibits, some you can use.The WW2 section again you are so close but they have put the weapons behind glass, well I don't think we could play with a machine gun. Very informative labeling. The owners are on hand to demonstrate some of the equipment there. A homely museum.

We visited here yesterday on the off chance and had a fascinating, fun and nostalgic couple of hours. There are two main topics: telecoms and electrical/electronic gadgets and a collection of military items. Whilst the exhibits are well labelled and described, it is the custodians that bring it all to life with encyclopedic knowledge of the history and provenance.I personally loved seeing the old computing and phone equipment but there is a great range from a 1936 teas maid to a cabinet of quackery" gizmos. I never realised there were so many types and purposes for electric valves and some of the delicate designs are beautiful and must have taken great skill to make and great determination to survive intact. We'd just had breakfast
