Took my almost 3 year-old here to get passport photos. The photos were rejected by the passport service for being too dark/not enough contrast. I returned as they had said they would redo them if rejected.However, the new photos were just as dark looking, maybe worse. Rather than argue about it, I left with the photos and spent about 20 mins in one of the photo booth machines in the Tesco to get photos I knew would pass (only £6 compared to the £10 for the poor photos provided by Max Photo Centre).This whole process has added almost 5 weeks onto to passport application process (Christmas break in the middle) and has been very stressful and disappointing.Would not recommend or reuse this service.

I took my 3 year old and 11 month old to get passport photos which as you can imagine was no easy task, but the staff at Max Spielmann were fantastic. The gentleman working there was so patient and kind that he managed to put my daughter at ease and get the picture quickly. Also they are guaranteed so I don't need to worry about them being rejected by the passport office. Overall very happy with the service and I'll definitely use them again

Went to this store and was met by a very rude, abrupt member of staff that was obviously very keen to get home. Yes it was 5-10mins before their advertised closing time, however I was told boldly without even being able to finish my enquiry that they were closing and I was not being served. A very disappointing response from a person in a retail face to face environment and not only a bad reflection on Max Spielman but also Tesco as the store in which they have their concession store within.
