There are no signs indicating the car park so it is easy to drive past and miss it. Slow down when approaching. It is also rather small so can fill up rather quickly.

Car park is easy to get to. Reasonable path to top of the escarpment. Easy enough walk for someone with reasonable fitness up about 100m to the summit of the escarpment with fantastic views over whole of Belfast through to the Mourne mountains

Can be busy at night so car parking spaces are at a premium.A 25 minute walk to the top of Cave Hill from here.Good views the whole way up.One steep gravel track which definitely wouldn’t be accessible for anyone with mobility issues.Apart from that there is a narrow cattle/sheep grid and a few gates so not wheelchair accessible.Our kids have been up this way though from a very young age and it should cause no problems for most people.

Did the sunrise walk ...amazing. I would say you need medium fitness and great views over Belfast to be seen.

Absolutely stunning view from the top. My Fiancé proposed to me here. Its a tough walk up but well it though. Beautiful view of Belfast. Pictures don’t do it justice. Took about an hour and a half to get to the top but that’s just because I was slow.
